RUDEBOY_ParticipantRockets announced today they have added former Marquette guard Jerel McNeal to their roster ….This is kind of puzzling becuz they already have 18 players on their current roster…But i heard McNeal was looking into signing with some D-League team..I’m guessing GM Darryl Morey jumped at the chance to sign McNeal and send him to play with their D-League team..So The Rio Grand Valley Vipers wouldn’t have to waste a high draft pick on McNeal..

JNixonParticipantJerel McNeal isn’t good, and almost certainly will not make their roster. He’s a 6’2 SG who has little offensive ability and still shows poor ability to play PG or make jump shots with any consistency. He also is a rather bad ball-handler for a 6’2 guy at the NBA. The only thing he can do is play on-ball D and hustle.
