OhCanada-ParticipantDuring the course of a season each team endures their own trials and tribulations amongst those are injuries. When a teams marquee or somewhat marquee players become injured it creates oppurtunity for a player with a smaller role to succeed and effeciently replace that role. Some examples of this happening last year would be Parker and Hill in San Antonio, Paul and Collison in New Orleans and Arenas and Blatche in Washington.
What marquee players do you see possibly being injured, and who do you see replacing their role?

torontoraptors10ParticipantCarlos Boozer – Taj Gibson
Also a couple years ago in Utah with Boozer and Millsap.

cp33ParticipantTaj Gibson has an opportunity to prove himself in the absence of Boozer. I thin kTaj Gibson is going to fill in nicely at the 4 until he gets back, and then be a pretty good bench big for the Bulls.

cp33Participanttorontoraptors10, you beat me to it.
I think that Dragic would fill in nicely if Nash gets injured. Highly unlikely since Nash usually plays most of the season, but it could happen.

torontoraptors10ParticipantThat is the one that stood out to me the most! What about Jeff Teague taking Mike Bibby’s starting PG spot? Bibby is only getting older, has lost his touch on defense, isn’t that quick any more and his shot isn’t that great anymore. I seriously think Teague can take his spot.

OhCanada-ParticipantDuncan and Blair is also a good one.

Moon RiverParticipantLuol Deng will miss time to injury (like he does every year) and I think Brewer and Korver will be starting and basically interchangable at SG and SF. And than Gar/Pax will regrest not pulling the trigger and including Noah in the trade for Melo Anthony.

stanford hoopswillie warren for eric gordan

OhCanada-ParticipantGordan is not injury prone, or old if anything we would be talking about Baron Davis and Warren is like the 5th or 6th gaurd on the depth chart being Gordon, Davis, Foye, Butler, Bledsoe, Warren.
Id say Davis and Foye would be a good one.

stanford hoopswell you listed chris paul and tony parker and i wouldnt consider them injury prone. so is it injury prone players or players behind a starter who could get a chance when/if a player gets hurt? which are you going for?

OhCanada-ParticipantA player that you think could get hurt..like someone you expect to be injured. Bynum is injured every year, Oden is, Duncan is likely to miss some games do to his age etc.

stanford hoopsparker doesnt fall into that catagory or paul..if they do then so does gordan since he missed 20 games last season so hes just as likley to miss games and parker and paul
