flybobbyflyParticipantWhat is going to happen to the rest of the nuggets? i only see a few valuable pieces to a team that is trying to start over and rebuild so it makes sense that they will dump some of their asstets for picks, young talent, and cash. I could see them holding on to lawson and nene but everyone else seems expendable. where will these guys go chauncey? k-mart? birdman? jr smith? harrington?
it might be optimistic to think that they could find buyers for all of those guys but you never know. especially with teams looking for that little something extra to spark their playoff run.

Malik-UniversalParticipantits crazy how in 2009 the nuggets were amongst the eilte teams, now there gnna be in a rebuilding mode most likely in just a season

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI say: Move Nene, J.R. Smith and Billups for solid players/picks down the road and look to rebuild on draft picks and cash.
The only guy I keep is Ty Lawson.

joecheck88Participantwould you do this trade either way? denver gets an expiring and a young forward and denver gets a shot blocker and a pg. I think i would do it if Atlanta threw in a pick as well.

BasterdInABasketParticipantIf I were ATL Id take that in heartbeat. Right now they have no shot against orlando, boston and miami with Bibby and the inexperienced Teague at point. Chauncey would be a great fit with JJ. Just think how big and physical a backcourt that would be along with the all their length behind them. With that trade I think they could contend with orlando in the southeast.
Maybe with some picks Denver would take it

flybobbyflyParticipanti dont see why denver wouldnt take that trade after they lose melo. that is a good trade for both sides man congratulations. thats not an easy accomplishment

joecheck88Participantlol, a trade that didnt lose me points. ya i think atlanta could throw in a pick. billups and jj backcourt would be sick and i like it for denver because marvin williams could get the chance to maybe do a little more and be a solid starter. and atlanta imo needs to make a splash to contend in the now stacked east. because lets face it, everyone has a chance in a playoff series. even charlotte has harris, jackson and wallace now, nj has melo and lopez, and those are probably the 7 and 8 seeds.
