    Memphis Commercial Appeal is reporting that the Memphis Grizzlies have invited veterans Damien Wilkens,Luke Jackson & Tre Kelly to training camp on non guaranteed deals..

    Wilkens a 6 year vet started several games for the T-Wolves last season.

    Jackson was a major disappointment after being drafted number 10 by the Cavs in 2004 …
    Jackson spent last season in Italy…

    Kelly is a well traveled journeyman that played at South Carolina…Kelly went undrafted in 2007…

    All 3 players are trying out for that final roster spot ..

    The Grizzlies will bring in Kenny Thomas on wednesday for a workout..Thomas played last season for the Kings…

    the grizzlies need more outside shooting..teams played zone on them alot…

    Damien Wilkins has a much better chance of sticking than Jackson and Kelly. It’ll come down to Thomas and Wilkins, and it will be interesting. The Grizz could use Wilkins’ shooting in small spurts, and Thomas’ reliable mid-range game and veteran leadership. I think Wilkins will get it though when it all comes down to it though.

    yeah..i like wilkens shooting and his agressiveness..2 things the grizzlies lacked last year…

     

    the coaching staff think Acie Law can blossom with the grizzlies….

    Mayo does a great job at running the point during some moments in the game..but he’s not really to handle running the point full time…

    but if Henry blossoms quicker than they expect Mayo will be moved there full time…
