Barkley Admits to taking MONEY in College

it is just not supposed to be talked about Barkley! Great even good to decent college players should get some of the colleges profit they make off them. I know they get a scholarship and a possibly a degree, but come on these players have one thing on their mind THE NBA. They are not looking for a degree to help them in life, all they are looking for is the NBA, so why not get some chump change, walk around money 1,000 -5,000 weekly.

If Vince Young was a stang up guy he should decline to take the Heisman if they offer it to him because he knows dam well somebody gave him money too along the road in college.

So just because Vince was good then someone gave him
money? Come on now can we not cross that line into slander line since we have zero proof just guesses

Stanford Hoops this is where common sense and logic come into play, and just like Barkley said, these things happen all the time especially to prodigal talents. Vince Young was a prodigy since before Texas.

Think about it, when you’re that good everybody wants to a part of you and is going to throw money your way, when you come from a poor family how many times can people throw money at you before you pocket some when nobodies looking. Besides Vince Young hasn’t turned out to be filled with integrity and a smart decision maker when it comes to his personal life. Just look at the incident in the strip club where he tried to beat that chick up and a few years ago when he tried killing himself. Vince Young was given money at some point in time from somebody before he turned pro.

Gotta love Charles for this one, just straight up pointing out what many of us suspected. The NCAA regulatory committee is a freaking joke, but not more so than the regulations themselves. I am sure this committee does as fine a job as they can, I am sure it is incredibly difficult to regulate these things, but, I just can not stand this hypocrisy and what they are doing to these athletes that are making them rich. Let them play, and let sleeping dogs lie. It is almost like Eternal Sunshine on the Spotless Mind and they try to erase our memories from things that have happened in the past. Except, well, unlike the movie, they do not. Reggie Bush won the Heisman trophy, Derrick Rose played in the NCAA finals and Charles Barkley received money he spent on pizza, booze and strippers (assuming). Well, I just hope they eventually stop screwing people over, like they have done to AJ Green at Georgia by suspending him 4 games, and they did to Mike Williams so many years ago. Let the kids play, and stop holding this false standard of amateurism.

Great, now the NCAA is going to lauch an investigation in the Auburn basketball program for infractions 25 years ago.

i think most people know there is  always gonna be some shady under the table stuff going on, but DONT talk about it barkley.
