    ESPN.COM is reporting that former North Carolina coach 79 year-old Dean Smith is dealing with a severe case of memory lost…His Family has informed Current & Former coaches and players about his health….The family has declined to make a public statement for private reasons..Smith retired in 1997 after coaching at UNC for 36 seasons..His teams won titles in 1982 & 1993…

    But hes a great coach and a hall of famer and a legend. Very sad to hear indeed.
