Dwyane Wade because I was a huge jordan fan in Florida and he reminded me of him. I went to many heat games and before he was even playing in the NBA all I tried to do when I played basketball was drive to the hole. After I first saw him play I tried to model my game after him by watching how he drives and I use some of his moves like the step back and euro step.

    Dwyane Wade.

He’s one of the few players who tries on EVERY possession, on defense or on offense. He never btchd or moaned about the Miami Heat and their bad roster like LeBron, Bosh, Bryant did back then.

I just love his style of play… His quickness, speed, athleticism and finesse all combined into one… A player who never talks a lot in games but instead lets his game do the talking… You could see how poker-faced he is everytime he scores… I also like his court vision and unselfishness… He goes out there and play with his heart out… Not to mention he is unstoppable in the open floor because he takes body contact like a sponge… He’s an amazing player… He makes the Bulls a must-watch NBA team night in and night out…

I personally like Rondo alot. He has to be crafty due to his skinny frame which is very similiar to mine. All that he needs is a consistent jump shot and he can be a framchise player. I also take things out of peoples game like rondo’s fakes, d-wade’s and Manu’s two step and I try to emulate allen Iverson’s cross over.

It used to be John Stockton, but when he retired I stopped watching basketball… That is, until I learned of Andrei Kirilenko. When I re-enlisted as a Jazz fan, Kirilenko, Boozer and Collins were all out injured. I had no idea who Curtis Borchert, Keith McLeod and Gordon Giricek were or why they were starting on the once mighty Utah Jazz. All I knew is that they weren’t winning games…

I would listen to the games online and Hot Rod would always talk about Andrei Kirilenko and how good he was. I couldn’t wait to hear him play. I remembered him back from the Stock/Malone era, and him playing in the rookie game. All I remember is how long the TV announcers said his arms were. I remember they hung down to his knees and for some reason that image stuck in my head. Eventually he came back, and the rest is history.

Andrei Kirilenko has been my favorite basketball player ever since. Even when he sucked for a season or two.

This is my first post on this site and my favourite player is Yao Ming because he’s Chinese and i’m Chinese. Also he’s 7’6″ and can actually score, has nice shooting touch as evidenced him being able to hit jumpers from 15+ feet out which is very strange for a 7 footer to do, let alone a guy who’s 7’6″, and his good free throw percentage. If Jeremy Lin makes it into the NBA, and gets some minutes, he will probably be my new favourite player because he is Asian-American which makes me happy because he will be the first of that kind to make it to the NBA and that makes me proud. Both my parents are Chinese but I was born in Canada, so my situation is similar to that of Jeremy Lin’s, so he is kind of similar to me.

And was the first person I actually followed from his high school career to his NBA. I’ve always loved his play style and 2 years ago in school, I made a gingerbread man of him 😉

Kobe Bryant when is saw him as a young rookie and after that preseason dunk he had on Ben wallace where he jumped from the foul and dunked over wallace`s head I knew he was going to be special and he is without a doubt the hardest worker and best player in the league and now he got one more then Shaq so you can take it to the back and also Sheed for being th most thug player in the nba for the last 10 years

    amare stoudemire and rondo….
amare cuz he had the amazing determination to have that major knee sugery, and still come back with vengence the next season, and just cuz at the same time i really like his game and attitude

actually i used to really dispise rondo but until this years playoffs i really became a fan of his… his hustle is great, and if i was able to play PG, i would model my game after his. his game 4 against the cavs for me was like a little boy in a candy store

he is a true leader and competitor. He leads his team in Scoring, Assists, and Steals. He works hard and he is very humble. He is the Drew Brees to the Hornets

Being a small white guy with limited athleticism I have so much respect for Nash getting it done in the NBA. Also passing is overlooked so much nowadays and no one runs the screen and roll like Nash.

Kobe Bryant, I love the way he approaches the game, the way he plays it, his competitiveness, his work ethic and willingness to improve, he adds something new to his game every year despite being such a complete basketball player, his burning desire to win and play at the highest level is truly inspiring, I pretty much model my game after his mostly.

Carmelo Anthony, I love under rated guys and he has always been a Lebron’s shadow but he has better scoring ability and is as clutch as they come. When its all said and done i think there will be a huge debate over who had the best career Carmelo or LeBron……………….Carmelo just has that “thing” so smooth, not too flashy and very strong and quick Love His Game

I love tough nosed defensive players and who was a better example of this then big ben in his prime. His game is all about hard work.

And lets not forget the fro

Chris Bosh…he’s the primary example of a finesse PF. He has a nice touch around the basket, can get in and block a couple of shots and has great range.

lol i remember on PTI years ago they talked about that “free pass” ak47s wife gives him every year

and i have been impressed by his game ever since that amazing year he had (i dont remember what year just that carlos arroyo was still starting pg…and keith mcleod was backup) but he was getting blocks, rebounds, assist like crazy

Yeah AK-47 is pretty high on my list as well. At one point he was blocking everything that moved near the basket. If he never sustained all those injuries, he definitely would have picked up a defensive player of the year award.

A.K. is a good player that contributes a lot at both ends. But whats up with the drop off in production after he signed his HUGE contract. He is the highest paid player on the Jazz at around 17 mill. I’m seeing him having another break out season because he’s in the last year of his deal. Then we hopefully resign him for a lot less.

i have a question for everyone who said Dwade? Did any of u guys know who he was in high school or any college? Or even wrote him off after they won that ring? Anywayz Kobe is my dude i always loved his game even in 96. He has Mike’s killer Mojo and yes i said it if kobe gets 7 he’s better then MJ i said it now we all praise one’s self stats but at the end of the day rings r wat people want not MVP’s, not MIP, not DPY, not 6th man, they want rings ask the mailman and CB4 u ask them they would trade in their MVP’s for a ring. So before yall go crazy think about rings overtakes MVP anyday
