Lets start with this years Draftee’s

1.Wall… is a Pg or is he a Sg…I think he’s a Sg…more like Wade then any Pg they compare him too Imo…

    2. Turner…Is really a Sg or a Sf/Pg…I think he’s a Point Forward or Huge Point but I hope he becomes a great 2

    3.Favors…Is he Pf or a C…I see a C not a pf…

    4. Cousins…Pf or C I see a highly skilled Pf playing C because of his great size…Has to
    watch his weight …

    1. Wall’s Playing Point Because He’s The Wizards Best Player . . Wade Type Of Player
    2. Turner Is A Point Guard . . Bt Might Have To Wait To Be One If Holiday Is The Real Deal . . Steve Smith Or Joe Johnson Type

    3. Favors Is A Center ; In The Dwight Howard Mold
    4. Cousins Can Actually Play Both ; As i Said Before , He Reminds Me Of Rasheed . They Have Some Of The Same Skills . . Bt Cousins Is Alot Heavier . . If Cousins Gets His Head Right Then He Could Be A 25-12-4 Guy w/ 2 Blocks Potentially . .

he can score but if you have been watching him.
he looks to set up his teammates first.
He can lead a team already.
His only problems is turnovers but he will clean that up.

Wall is a point guard. He’s absolutely proven that much in the NBA, where he’s not getting those one man fastbreaks all the time, and he’s finding the open man consistantly. He’s the real deal. I was down on him, but now it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if he surpasses Rose by the end of next year, and I never would have said that just 5 months ago. I still don’t think it will happen, but it wouldn’t surprise me.

Turner’s the kind of player where it really doesn’t matter. Until it improves, his jumpshot is a liability at either position, and his rebounding, ball handling, passing and defense is a huge plus. He’s probably more suited for a 2 because he doesnt have to guard the Carmelo’s and Durant’s for now, but he definitely has the potential for it.

Favors, I agree. He’s a couple years from maturing into a beastly center, but his athleticism, and the skill set of Brook Lopez makes him playing at the four a great option for the Nets. A lot of teams would love to have him patrolling the paint getting weakside blocks as a center, but he’s young and has all the potential in the world to improve his perimeter skills.

Cousins has the skill set of a PF in an enormous but unathletic centers body. For defensive and fast break purposes, you need your four to be able to run the flour well, especially with the advent of these athletic hybrid fours that litter the league. He’s a more extreme case of Greg Monroe in terms of skills and position.

Agree with Mkadoza. Wall looks to set up others first then get his. He can score, and his midrange is looking good so that will open up the drive for him(not that he needs it) so it will be really tought to guard him on any level. But, just because he can score doesn’t mean he has to be a SG…all the elite PG’s can score but still play pass first basketball

I will remember your screen name because you definitely sound like you are one of the people on here that really know your stuff but that could all change if you make some crazy trade post lol

Cousins is not unathletic though, he is not a great athlete but a good one. He is explosive but does not get high as someone like Shaq but he can practically dunk everything pretty quick thanks to his length and his explosiveness. He even looked good driving to the basket.

He could play the 4 or the 5 but is too good in the low post to not play the 5. Also Cousins is better in the post than Howard but he does not play defense like Howard.

Whiteside plays D like Howard but is too weak and small right now to be in the same breath as Howard

im tired of hearing the wall rose comparsions. wall is way too turnover prone for me. 16 turnovers in two games. summer league games at that. rose dominated when he played in the summer league.

I agree with you Mr.KIA. But the truth is that these are the top point guard prospects based on physicality, skill set and potential. Wall does need to dial it down, just like Rose needed to be prodded into being more of a scorer. They both have their deficiencies, but both have elite skill. They both look like they’re going to use the midrange elbow jumper to great effect. Definitely my early match up of the year.

And thanks for the compliment, sheltwon. But I stay away from trades now. Just scouting and analysis.

I agree wall has major issues with control, Rose was more in control in his debut in summerleague, but i also remember rose not scoring too much, wall is much more gifted offensively than Rose was two years ago. Also, Wall is a pure point, who can play a passing SG if he desires. Rose cant play SG, but is a more polished PG
