Micheal Jordan has placed a hold on the trade sending center Tyson Chandler & forward Boris Diaw to Toronto for reserves Reggie Evans & Jose Calderon…Seems that he’s having 2nd thoughts about getting rid of Chandler..

I would definitely not make that trade. I don’t know the contracts exactly but the players straight up don’t make sense to me. what do you guys think?

Smart by Jordan to put it on hold, I think them jumping in on the trade was a knee-jerk reaction to having lost Felton, and having Augustin being the only point guard on the roster.

Not sure how i feel about that trade. A lot hinges on whether chandler is healthy. If he can give you 70+ games and 30 minutes, then no i dont make the trade. But if he is hurt again, then calderon can help the cats a lot more then diaw can so in that case i think the trade would be okay for charlotte.

Yeah..When i 1st heard about,i thought it was an unbalanced trade..Charlotte will be giving up 2 starters..And with Felton going to the Knicks..They’d lost 3 starters from last season…I mean who’ll play center for the Bobcats if they get rid of Chandler? Calderon was the player they were trying to get to take Felton’s place..

‘Cats should sign Ridnour and should have had a crack at Farmar before the Nets got him. Charlotte’s size was one of their strengths last season, I hope Jordan realises quality bigs are a must against the Heat, Magic and Celtics and doesn’t trade Chandler.

Smart move by Jordan he is holding up Phoenix from getting Childress and Turkoglu and Toronto from geting Diaw Barbosa and Chandler until he gets what he wants whatever that is.

1st of all tyson chandler is the best player in this deal if healthy, 2nd why would mj give up a combine 20+ mill in contracts that come off the books after next year? If the trade goes through then mj just put the bobcats right out of the potential 7 or 8 seed & into the lottery with no salary help for the next season.

Today is the last day for the deal…honestly I dont mind if this deal dies just because I think Diaw would eat too many minutes and hurt the develop ment of Raptors players.

Its obvious that BC can move Calderon for an expiring (or soon expiring) contract its just about which one he should grab. Calderon is gone but BC is just trying to maximize his return value.

I don’t think Diaw would get a lot of minutes if he came here. I think he was the filler, I think Weems and Kleiza would get more SF minutes.
