As it happens, the Minnesota Timberwolves have a player who fits that description to a tee, and they would love to get their hands on the TPE in exchange for Al Jefferson. Jefferson has been on the block for some time, as unlike the Cavaliers the Timberwolves are very much in the rebuilding mode. The arrival of Nikola Pekovic and the re-signing of Darko Milicic have long since spelled the end for Jefferson in Minnesota, and the belief is that Minnesota would send him to Cleveland for the TPE and the right combination of picks.

The cavs are a playoff team with this deal. Read that the deal is very close to being completed

I think this would be a great move for Cleveland.

How much is the TPE Cleveland would send to Minnesota?

I think it’s the TPE they acquired from the Heat, which is 14,5 million.

    Whos next Turkoglu and Okafor?Seriously…

    Lets sayy…
    Cleveland Recieves
    Al Jefferson

    Minnesota Recieves
    10MIL TE
    Jamrio Moon

    Cleveland Recieves
    Hedo Turkoglu
    Marco Bellinelli

    Toronto Recieves
    5MIL TE
    Delonte West/Daniel Gibson
Future Draft Picks (1st and 2nd)

    Cleveland Recieves
    Emeka Okafor
    Julian Wright

    New Orleans Recieves
    Antwaan Jamison

    PG)Mo Williams,Daniel Gibson,Sebastion Telfair
    SG)Anthony Parker,Marco Bellinelli
    SF)Hedo Turkoglu,Julian Wright,Danny Green
    PF)Al Jefferson,JJ Hickson,Leon Powe
    C)Emeka Okafor,Anderson Varejao

Actaully would be a very good team on paper. An obvious half court team, good perimiter shooters, no true PG so Turkoglu could handle the rock and become effective, not too fast for Okafor or Jefferson, lots of capable defensive role players, and a great Head Coach with Byron Scott.

LOL the ALL BAD CONTRACT TEAM

I don’t think West will return. He’ll be waived or traded. His contract is unguaranteed.

The Cavs have a little over $8 million in cap space as of right now.

I’m guessing that Delonte West’s non guranteed deal would be included in such a deal. Pretty nice move for the Cavs. If only they could either turn Jamison into a defensive center or play him at the 3. The reason why I don’t think Jamison is neccesarily a stretch four is because he’s too small to guard the Gasol’s, Nowizki’s and Bosh’s of the league.

    Jefferson – Moon – Green
    Jamison – Hickson – Powe
    Jefferson – Andy V – Powe

2 yrs till Williams and Jamisons contract, thats y 2 yrs for RJ

your right Childress would be a better player

then in two years everyone except Childress(if they sign him), Al Jefferson (if they trade for him) and Andy V will be the only players currently that they would have on roster

If Cleveland get Harrison Barnes, forget it. Cleveland should just tank the season, go get Barnes and load on draft picks. I like the addition of Jefferson.

Go get them Gilbert! We with you, forget LBJ!!!!!!

I’ll never leave my home-state. Dude is a fraud.

Just because they may tank the season does not mean they’re a lock for #1 overall, my Nets proved that & we didn’t even tank.
