paint intruderParticipantNow that no other big name free agent signed with New York, how will Amare fare as the Knicks only bright star?
Or will the Knicks trade for someone?

sheltwon3ParticipantI wanted Collison but it would appear that will not happen now that New Orleans are under luxury tax.

MkadozaParticipantHe will fare fine. This is the best player New York has had since Ewing. Better than LJ, Camby, Houston, Spreewell, Marbury, and any of the washed up old stars they tried (Dikembe? Penny? The return of Mark Jackson??) He will have players around him who can help and he’s not going to be asked to change his style. Just score a lot, abd thats what he can do.

rtbtParticipantHe’ll do well but I firmly believe he isn’t the same player without those great passes from Steve Nash.
Incredibly, NY traded away a walking double double in David Lee.
Donnie Walsh’s free agent strategy gamble turned into a big bust.

sheltwon3ParticipantI thought Amare was good before Steve Nash came to Phoenix but hey I could be wrong.
