    I know that Cleveland doesnt have the best supporting cast for Lebron but there team was still good enough to win 50, 66, 61 games in consecutive years. One player do that on his own he still needs a good team, Kobe had a good team and that is why have been to the finals for the last three years but before when they had Walton, Kwame Brown, Smush parker Kobe couldn’t even make the playoffs. When Michael left the bulls to play baseball Scottie Pippen still led the Chicago Bulls to a 50 win season. Great teams win not players. So all the speculation that Cleveland will be the worst team in the nba is proposterous they will still have a good team and be in playoff contention and most definetly be above 500. Mo williams and Antwawn Jamison with a young J.J Hickson and Anthony parker arent exactly scrubs. Players like Delonte West,Varajeo and Moon are all good role players. Now they will not be nearly as good as they were with Lebron but they will not become the Nets

    Not as bad as the Nets, but 20-25 victories still SUCKS….

    so lemme get this straight….n tell me if im wrong 4 thinkin this….but mo williams, jamison, hickson, parker, west, n varajeo is gonna go where butler, arenas, jamison, haywood, stevenson, foye couldnt n make tha playoffs…

    mo williams is highly over rated
    they have a lot of role players but nobody whos a legit all-star caliber player
    jj hickson shud breakout this year tho

    I don’t think they’ll be one of the worst teams in the league but i would be surprised if they made the playoffs with their current squad. J.J Hickson is a good prospect but it’s unfair to expect him to become a 20 and 10 guy next season. Mo and Jamison are complimetary guys not true stars.

    The Cavs would be smart to trade for some draft picks and move up the draft board since that’s probably their only chance of grabbing a player with star quality but the problem is their only real bait is Hickson. In the free agency i get the feeling they’ll try to entice worse players by over-paying them just to get back on track, which i hope doesn’t happen.

    I think the Cavs have a huge chip on their shoulder but i’ve never been a fan of byron scott as a coach…i really cant get a good grasp on where this team will end up

    After the 1st 6 in the East(Miami, Boston, Orlando, Milwaukee, Chicago, and Atlanta) the last 2 spot are extremely unpredictable. I guess the Bobcats would be favored for a spot as they made it last year but I could see almost any team making it in the east. I doubt Toronto, Philly, and detroit make it. I could see NJ, NY, or Cle making it. I am sure I am missing a team or 2 but the point is almost anyone could make the playoffs in those last 2 spots next year.

    I think it speaks volumes that over the past three seasons the Cavs have won 50+ games per season and have had only one other All-Star. In addition, that selection required major lobbying. Bryon Scott will assure a decnt product will be on the court; however, the forseeable future looks cloudy for Cleveland.
