The Russian Billionaire tells espn that he came away from his meetings with the feeling Wade and Bosh are going to Miami, and that the Nets, Heat, Bulls, and Cavs are all in the running for the most coveted prize. Lebron James.

Personally I hope he goes to the nets. I’d like for him to show everybody just how good he is and take a 12 win team, and get 50 maybe 60? wins this year.

Alright so tell me where I’m wrong now

Wade and Bosh are going to Miami. If that happens, LeBron would almost have to go to New York. Unless he wants to team up with David Lee or Carlos Boozer….It would be down to Cleveland or New York.

The Nets have good, young talent, and LeBron can make them that much better.. With guys like Brook Lopez, a solid center and future all-star, Williams, Favors, Harris, I don’t see why LeBron wouldn’t want to go there, and not to mention all the resources he’s going to have. Mikhail would give LeBron anything he needs. Mikhail also said he would pursue Chris Paul heavily if LeBron comes.

Yea, they have a good roster that went 12-70 last season. Explain to me that 12 win season and I’ll take NJ as a serious option. Plus, yea the Mikhail said that- It’s his job to get good players around LeBron.

The Knicks have Gallo-Amar’e- Chandler and could add another talent next to him by moving Eddy Curry. Plus we have the role players in Walker, Douglas, Barron, Jordan.

we were bombarded with injuries last year and no one ever fully got back from them…harris played 64 but never found his legs, lee was adjusting to being a starter and a go to scorer, hayes, yi, and dooling missed about 30 a piece…if ure gonna be naive about the talent they have go ahead, but if you know talent u can see how clear it is that NJ offers lebron the best chance to have a dynasty

The Nets have a young team. Yeah, that young talent didn’t equate into wins, and so didn’t the OKC team a couple of seasons ago either, and they turned it around. LeBron is a guy that makes his team mates better, so that is why I feel he would be the best fit. The Cleveland team LeBron is on now has a roster that is just as worse as the Nets squad if you take LeBron off it, but the Nets are younger than the Cavs right now which equates into way more potential to grow if you put the right veterans around them. Yeah, it’s every owner’s “job” to put talent on their team or around their superstar, but do all owners do a good job of that? No. Mikhail simply has more money than any average owner anyway, and money talks..

The nets have all star quality players at the PG and C. The knicks have fringe bench players at those positions. They also don’t have a an SG, while NJ has Twill and Lee. The only thing NY has going for them is Amare, but if Lebron sees the potential in Favours, it may not matter.

Don’t forget last year NJ had their GM act as their coach and had injury problems. Also, half the roster that won 12 games is gone. The team they now have waiting for Lebron is not comparable to the one they had last year

    Hayes, Yi.

Alright, what about Lopez, Williams? I’m not buying the injuries. If Harris played 64 games and only won 12? Come on now. The Nets do NOT have pieces to a Dynasty. They have no players who were good pieces to a playoff team.

NY has the pieces. We have Amar’e who could produce 20-9 with a playmaker.Amar’e ranked 1st last season in Points in the pain. Gallo has #1 scorer potential and shot 42% from 3. Chandler was a improved defender and averaged 15 last season. Put LeBron with that? It’s over.

Actually Gallo shot %38 from three.

Who does the Knicks have that were proven playoff players? heck even Stoudemire doesnt play too well in the playoffs.

New Jersey has a better core and i rest my case.

Gallo is a knock out shooter, but #1 option? No way. And he also plays the same position as Lebron. Maybe you can make the case he can play some 4, but he’s a defensive liability there. Then what? Have Amare play the 5? Same thing. When was the last time a team won a championship by going small? Chandler gets torched by SGs and they just don’t have quality players at the PG and C, nor do they have a good bench. I get your a Knicks fan, and it sucks, but you need to step into reality. If Lebron goes to the Knicks it’s not because he thinks he can win the most there.

I didn’t say NY has any. But NJ doesn’t. Harris hasn’t played 70 games in a season since he was in Dallas, Terrance Williams is in his 2nd season and played well in flashes, Brook Lopez is a good offensive big but terrible on defense. Courtney Lee did not like playing next to Harris and wanted a trade. Is that a team LeBron could turn into a winner? I dunno. To be honest, I lean towards no. LeBron would have to be a 28-8-8 guy to get that team to Cleveland’s level.

If LeBron went to NY, they have the pieces LeBron could use. They have the shooter, they have the slasher and the big. Gallinari has progressed faster then Hedo and Peja did in thier 2nd season. Wilson Chandler is a excellent #4 option in the NBA. He could defend 2’s and 3’s.

Amare Stoudemire has playoff averages of 24 points and 9 rebounds….Yea, he’s terrible in the playoffs.

Lopez is a good post defender. I dont know how he isnt hes not the Nets problem in my opinion it was purely chemistry, they just didnt have it, and they didnt have a number one option, Lebron would solve that, THey have two great third, and fourth options in Lopez, and Harris.

If they move Humphries they have the cap room for two maxes, Lee is a defensive stopper, Williams gives them versatility off the bench, James, and Favors give them defense, and rebounding off the bench.

    Harris/Williams
    Lee/Williams
    James/D.James
    Bosh/Favors
    Lopez/Favors

How is what the Knicks have to offer better?

    ‘Gallo has #1 scorer potential’

I read that as you saying he can be a #1 option…I don’t know how else to interpret that…

…and Lebron IS a 28-8-8 guy, so I think you just admited that Jersey would win 60 games if he went there?

Keep in mind that Jersey would also have like 12mil(ish) in cap room left over too…while the Knicks would have to fill up their other like 8 spots on the roster with their MLE…lol

The PG thing is overrated because where ever LBJ goes, he will be the leading assist man.

The Knicks have Gallo, Amare, Chandler, Walker, Barron, Douglas. That makes 6. Add Rautins and Fields? That makes 8. LeBron would make 9 and then two veterans ( most likely a good PG and a banger) plus the MLE guy.

Also, Lopez is not a good low post defender. I watched him play, he was struggling against Noah. He is a below average defender at best. EVERYONE knows that.

Also, how could NY offer better?

Trade Eddy Curry, Wilson Chandler and 2011 1st rounder for Parker

    Parker/Douglas
    Chandler/ Walker
    LeBron/ Gallo
    Amar’e/ Kurt Thomas (vet contract
    Barron/Jordan

That’s a better team right there.

Gallo would be the 6th man. Chandler has played the 2 the past 70 games in the season. LeBron would play the 3 if he became a Knick.

Avery Johnson is not a better coach then Mike D’Antoni. That’s easy. I don’t need to explain that one.

    No its not.

    Harris=Parker
Chandler>Lee (Lees better defender, nearly as good though)
    Lebron=Lebron
    Bosh(if they get him)>Amare
    Lopez>Barron
    Twill>Walker/Douglas
    Gallo>James
    Favors>THomas/Jordan

its 4 for Jersey. 2 for York.

Jersey look better in my op[inion.

And from what im hearing Parker is staying with the Spurs.

and Chandler wouldnt be on their team if they did that trade anyways lol.

When the Suns were good they were loaded. Say what you want i mean Nash, Stoudemire, Johnson, Marion, Diaw, Barbosa, and they couldnt win a title? Gentry is a better coach, and Johnson is too.

The Suns have should have won a title, I agree but you must have forgot what happened.

05- Johnson got a eye injury

06- Diaw was playing the 5 ( no team will win a title like that) and Amar’e had surgery

08- Horry got Amare and Diaw suspended

The Suns could and should have won a title but it didn’t happen. Alvin Gentry coached 1 year and he’s better? LOL. Avery Johnson had a 2-0 series lead in the Finals and let it choke by losing 4 in a row and he’s a better coach? LOLOLOL

And in actuality Avery Johnson would be a better coach to develop young talent than D’Antoni, and quiet honestly I believe he is a better coach period. D’Antoni SSOL offense gets wins but doesn’t produce championships.

Mike D’Antoni is a not s good coach. You can say what you like about other coaches, but he’s bad, and the fact is, its nearly impossible to win playing that type of system. Defense has to be #1, and D’Antoni will never understand that. I am just so against that type of system, and basketball fans who believe in it. The only coach I would not take over D’Antoni is Nellie and thats because he don’t know how to deal with players.

D’Antoni is incapable of putting his ego aside for the better of the team. He put’s players in his “doghouse” as he pleases and refuse to slow down is ssol offense to implement an actual defensive strategy. If your a head coach and your game plan is to outscore every team every night you maybe entertaining to watch but will fail at winning anything meaningful smh, that’s why he would do just fine in NY cause he can put on a show.
