Scheyer will be a cheap roster filler for Miami if he makes the team.

I like Scheyer a lot as far as basketball goes but will he bring more the Heat than Chris Quinn, a third string Point Guard who could shoot the ball and distribute on occassion?
    Assuming the Heat sign him.

Of course I personnaly hope Scheyer makes the best out of it and becomes a servicable player.

UPDATE No. 4 “Sylven Landesberg will play for Sacramento’s summer league squad in Las Vegas,” tweets Jonathan Givony of Draft Express.

UPDATE No. 3: According to the Slipper Still Fits, Gonzaga’s Matt Bouldin, another guard who went undrafted, has been given a free agent contract by the Bulls to play on their summer league team.

UPDATE No. 2: Cal point guard Jerome Randle also didn’t get drafted. But according to Jonathan Givony of Draft Express, he’ll play in the summer league with Washington and could make the team.

“Jerome Randle will play for Washington’s summer league team,” he tweets. “He’s gonna make that team and be a steal for them.”

UPDATE: Tweets Jeff Goodman of Fox Sports: “I was just told – and it’s probably already been reported – Sherron Collins will play summer league with Charlotte.”

I love the Kings getting Landesberg – he’s got a great shot to stick.

Knicks cant even get summer league right, only undraftee they got (so far) was Michael Washington, and hes like 30 years old

I like Randle ALOT, I hope he sticks in the NBA, but for the Wizards? ehh….John Wall, Arenas, Foye still under contract, ehh, atleast he’ll make a squad

Landesburg can be a steal, I like him, he should stick

I was hoping the hawks would sign Jerome Randle.

I like him better than Teague.

According the Dallas Morning News, “Harvard’s Jeremy Lin, who apparently is trying to become the first American-born Asian to make it in the NBA, will be joining the Mavericks for mini-camp on Monday and Tuesday and, possibly, for their summer league team in Las Vegas.”

Jeremy Wise plans to play for the Jam’s NBA-affiliate Golden State Warriors in July’s NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

“Jordan was a second-round selection and 44th pick overall by the Milwaukee Bucks, but rumors immediately swirled that his draft rights were purchased by the New York Knicks.

Jordan cannot officially be traded by the Bucks until next week and the deal depends on if Corey Maggette passes a physical on Monday, ESPN.com reported on Friday. Maggette and the 44th pick were traded to Milwaukee from Golden State.

ESPN.com reported that the Knicks will pay $1 million for Jordan’s rights.

Power forward Brandan Wright and swingman Reggie Williams will play on the Warriors’ summer league team. Point guard Stephen Curry and power forward Anthony Randolph may join the team in Las Vegas to work out but aren’t expected to play.

The Pistons will begin their summer schedule July 9 in Las Vegas. A.J. Slaughter will have a chance to earn a spot on Detroit’s roster, but he’ll also showcase his skills before scouts from the rest of the NBA.

Spurs’ forward, DeJuan Blair will be there despite news he was not going to make it to Vegas in order to partake in personalized workouts. Also Malik Hairston, Alonzo Gee, Curtis Jerrells, Garrett Temple, James Gist, and 2010 second round pick Ryan Richards are likely to be there as well.

Looks like Ryan Thompson will also being playing with the Celtics in one summer league. I think he could find his way on to that roster, he’d be a good fit in Boston, in my opinion, has great size and length for his position and could score off the bench.

I think the undrafted free agent that has the best shot at making an impact is John Scheyer. He’s 6’6” has a high basketball IQ, can play both guard positions and can shoot well enough to make up for his average athleticism. I wouldn’t be shocked if he had an A.J Price type impact as a rookie (as far as production, I’m not comparing the two as players)
