New York and Minnesota are the worst drafting franchises i have ever seen

New York reaches on two guys where they probably could have gotten one of them from FA and pass on better players at the same posisitions and better overall talent.
Minnesota reached on Hayward where they could have gotten him in the second round and that trade for Martell Webster was so stupid, both Babbit and Gomes are better than Webster. Minnesota should have at least kept one of them because the can play both forwards.

Webster is still young and can average over 20ppg and is a great spot up shooter. He is likely to be ray allen with more handle ability or glen rice with a shot. Gomes has reached his peak and is not getting younger, just as well luke babbit was a wait and see project you really dont know what your getting but I could see him sorry for the white comparison being like chase budinger the red head from the rockets with more handles

The Knicks blew their picks, with 2 guys that were predicted to be late second round to undrafted. The Timberwolves aren’t horrible drafters. Picking Wesley Johnson at 4 was a great pick, this kid has a lot of potential and the Wolves do need a SF, because of the trade sending away Babbitt and Gomes for Webster, which was a horrible trade, because Gomes by himself is better than Webster, and trading Babbitt too made it even worse of a trade.

You have to understand the reason of the trades. Wolves just saved themselves an extra 4 million the up coming year for another bench player who has more potential than Gomes. Like they said, Gomes has reach his peak, Webster is still young and is a good shooter. I only see the wolves getting better and with more option to make bigger moves with more salary space. I do think Haywood was a bit of a reach when they currently have; Brewer, Johnson, Webster and Ellinton playing the wings.

I thought the Raps did Okay…they got 2 defensive bigs…that’s good to go with Bargs post Bosh….Now on to the wolves and knicks( You get capital letters when you become a real team)….
David Kaun…do you Wolves fans wish he traded those 3 picks to Philly for Turner…lets see we got Turner…and you had the worse draft with the most picks period…you should have just give us the 4th/16th and 23rd and we would have cleaned up in the draft…we draft great every year…Now your stuck with a guy who will be Brewer 2.0 with a better 3 from day 1…then you trade Babbit for Webster???draft Booker when you got Al and Love…then trade him for another Euro spud…wOW…had you just trdaed those picks you’d have Turner and we’d have Cousins,James Anderson or Lance Stephenson with that 23rd pick…i would have went BPA at 16th…maybe we would have kept Babbit too…
