JazzinSLCParticipantPeople who think it’s going to matter to Deron Williams who the Jazz draft at 9, if Boozer leaves town a week later, are crazy. Nobody we can get at 9 is going to offset the loss of Carlos Boozer in Williams mind. He is still upset he lost his pal Ronnie Brewer and didn’t get a player to show for it in return (some future draft pick). Losing Maynor in a cost cutting trade only adds more fuel to the fire. These moves wouldn’t suggest to a player with D-Will’s mentality that the Jazz are trying at all costs to get better.

JazzinSLCParticipantBe it in the draft, or free agency (or through trade), is going to be a smart move. I think Deron would rather see the Jazz made a bold move, that might even set them back one year, if it could pay off in big dividends down the road. He knows the current cast of characters isn’t a championship level team.

Russell0WestbrookParticipanthim and paul will both leave to be with teams in a bigger market that will put talent around them to win and are willing to spend. don’t forget they basically did what lebron, wade, and bosh done with their contracts i see d-will going somewhere in texas when his contract is up

IknoBall12Participantderon has pretty much put the team on his back the last few years getting the team to the playoffs an dhelping them advance. now he needs help badly. and if boozer leaves for nuthing then that is jus another way the jazz can push him out of town. th efans know and im sure they feel the same way williams does.

FDAPOIf Boozer leaves, D-Will doesnt even need to think twice about finding a new team…. The Jazz are not going anywhere if they lose Boozer for nothing.
