Mr.Knick 32ParticipantThe lotto is wierd for one reason
When you watch it, the commentators take some fun out of it. For example: When one team moves up or down- They tell you where they will land.
Like say Minnesota has the 6th best chance but don’t get the 6th pick- The commentators tell you Minny automatically have a top 3 pick…Kinda irks me.

MagikKnickParticipantI wonder if any team would pass on John Wall, i did it enough times to see Utah and New Orleans get the #1 pick, and the mock had both of them picking John Wall
Does anyone seeing either team drafting and KEEPING John Wall if granted with the #1 pick?

Daprob89ParticipantIf NO or Utah is rewarded the number 1 pick. I like would like to see them flip picks wit the Warriors and a Monta Ellis deal( A guy who was rumored to be shopped at the trade deadline) with either Peja or AK47.
Hornets
G Chris Paul
G Monta Ellis
F James Posey
F David West
F Emeka Okafor6.Marcus Thornton
7.Darren Collisonor
Jazz
G Deron Williams
G Monta Ellis
F C.J. Miles
F Carlos Boozer
C Mehmet Okur6. Paul Millsap

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantSo you want the TV people to assume everyone has no clue about the lottery rules?

WrecklessParticipantI Like Evan turner over John Wall in alot of the scenarios. Let the points start coming down. lol. The Hornets wont keep him, they Have DC And Chris Paul, The Rockets would trade Brooks most likely imo.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantSo you want the TV people to assume everyone has no clue about the lottery rules?
Dude, STFU. All I mean is- let the fans watch it unfold. You don’t have to TELL us who’s moving up. If anything, Tell us how that could potentially change thier draft plans. If there are 5 teams left- Don’t tell me who’s a automatic lock for the top 3 and so on and so forth.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantIn the ten seconds between announcing who will pick where, I am sure Tirico or Stu Scott can break down how moving up or down in the lottery changes a team’s draft plans.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantBut they don’t.
I just rather have Chad Ford and Ryen Rusillo discussing potential draft guys. To me- They put the lotto on ESPN but it should a little bigger IMO. It would be cool to span over a couple weeks IMO. Give us a team every day and let some NBA draft guys discuss draft plans.
I feel fans wouldn’t like it but
Monday: 14th pick goes to ?- Breakdown
Tuesday: 13th pick goes to ?- Breakdownand stuff like that.

SwatLakeCityParticipantsorry daprob 89, but the jazz don’t want Monta Ellis. He is a chucker, and Coach Sloan hates chuckers. Besides he takes Matthews spot, and Coach Sloan loves Matthews. If the jazz get the #1 pick they would draft Evan Turner and start him at the three, no doubt about it. Hornets might pick Wall, just because he is the best player, and the hornets always go for the best player, no matter what. The Hornets would keep wall too and start him at the 2.
