JNixonParticipantHe’s one of my favorite players in basketball, and he’s a lethal shooter/scorer. I have voices my doubts about his ability to get his ugly and slow jumpshot off, but in the NCAA tourny he showed the ability to change his shot up and he even started getting elevation when he was contested. He’s now become an intriguing NBA prospect in the tourny were the nation could see him on the grand stage. He’s considering testing the waters to see where his stok is, but do you guys think he’s a good SG prospect?

tigers04Participanti think he can flat out score and in the nba now a days when guards are smaller/tweeners i think he fits right in.and i believe he is the type of athlete that if he wanted to he could be a good defender as well

JNixonParticipantYea he was a decent defender as a freshman (when Baylor played exclusively man-to-man) because he’s pretty smart out there. I think he’s not really quick or athletic enough to be a real good defender in the pros though, where guys are explosive and good ball-handlers

TRC1991Participanthe, dominique jones, and aubrey coleman all belong in the NBA…they’re smaller but they can score with ease…jermaine taylor made the rockets roster, jodie meeks made the bucks roster…no reason these guys cant

JNixonParticipantThat’s a surprise! I didn’t think he’d be a 1st rounder.

SwatLakeCityParticipantI have him going 30th in my mock draft. The only Baylor player that should stay is Tweety Carter.

JNixonParticipantTweety Carter is a Senior.

HROT88ParticipantCount me on the LaceDarius Dunn bandwagon. He is going to stick in the league.

ctw724ParticipantI’m a bit surprised by that. He looked like a solid 1st Round Pick to me.

JNixonParticipantI’m not. I didn’t think he was a guaranteed 1st rounder, so I think he should’ve returned. I like this decision, and I think Baylor will be a Sweet 16 team next year, and they could go further if they get good guard play. That’s a big if if Walton doesn’t step up.
