What do you guys think could this happen. He did hint that he liked Syracuse a lot, and would not mind staying next year. It would also help the Orange take the title next year, and possibly the National Title. Or will he wait and see how well the Orange do in the NCAA tournament. I think the latter is more promising. Just seems like the sort of the thing he would decide to do, and also help his team focus and prove that the Orange are for real.
How far would the orange have to go so that Johnson decides to leave and declare for the 2010 draft. Elite Eight, Final Four, champions?

No, read your former post. (maybe) I love to flip flop. Only way he returns is a complete flop in the tourney or maybe a good run at the title that makes him smell it. I think he will turn pro and be at least a top 7 pick.

@j1232e I hope he does declare as you think so. He is my dream pick for the Jazz. Just imagine this team with Booz, Dwill, Matthews and Johnson. They would dominate.

Haha I think everytime I see a post by you dwilljazz, it’s something about how Johnson would be so good for the Jazz.

Also, I think after a year or 2 Wes could overtake AK47 (Assuming AK is still there)

No way he comes back … too much money on the table, a lock for the lottery … has to leave

They can lose the first game and Wes would still declare, reason why, Jim Boeheim will tell Wes to declare just like how he told Flynn too. Jim Boeheim will tell Wes to go because this is what good coaches do, you bring them to the school so they can become professionals.

His stock will drop if he stays in school next year. His age will be a big problem for teams.

Yeah he has to come out. If he is a top 10 pick, which he is, you can’t pass up guaranteed millions. A National Championship isn’t guaranteed next year and you throw in the risk of injury…etc.

I will admit I am very high on Wes Johnson. Mostly because he is tailor made for the Jazz and he is the main player for a very good orange team. I actually think the Jazz could play with both Johnson and AK in the starting line up or AK on the bench. to back up Johnson. Imagine the jazz backcourt with two Big East players, in matthews and Johnson, both could motivate each other and try to compete for more steals, or better defense, maybe more points(but that does not sound too promising)2011 Starting lineups:
If Booz leaves via free agency.
    Memo
    AK
    Wes Johnson
    Matthews
    Dwill
    or
    Memo
    Millsap
    Wes Johnson
    matthews
    Dwill
AK backs up Johnson as well as Millsap.

If Booz stays. (This lineup would be amazing. This is my dream line up come 2011)
    Memo
    Booz
    Wes Johnson
    Matthews
    Dwill
Both AK and Millsap are backups to Booz and Johnson.
