I’m just wondering since the Knicks wanted Steph Curry and could’ve gotten Brandon Jennings.

Well golden state’s offense is just as run & gun as new york’s.. so Curry’s numbers would be the same..I think Jennings would be averaging about 25 a game….I’ll love to see whut O.J Mayo,Kevin Love or Rudy Gay’s number if they played in that system

Curry probably would score a lot, the Knicks don’t have a guy like Ellis that takes so many shots closes it Harrington.

Jennings 25 ppg that would never happen the way he’s shoots but he would have plenty of asts.
The Knicks haven’t even run much this year.

The bucks have the most possessions per game in the league…so considering both the warriors and bucks play at a faster pace then NY, curry and Jennings stats would probably be the same. Maybe D’antoni would let jennings shoot more, but it’s like his shots are going in, so it probably wouldn’t matter.

I agree, the warriors offense is already run and gun and more undisciplined than any in the league – so curry’s numbers i believe would be similar to what they are now

I think Jennings assist numbers would increase significantly and his scoring a little

What exactly is the D Antoni system that the Knicks are running this year?!
They are i think 11th in pace in the NBA, near the last in fast break points.
This whole Knicks pace nonsense is a myth, GS plays MUCH MUCH MUCH faster and Curry’s numbers would be lower. Jennings numbers would dip too because if D Antoni saw him shooting 30 times a game and making 7 shots he would put in his loverboy Duhon.

and no they wouldn’t ask for a trade both were very upset they weren’t Knicks on draft night. Curry has always been very open and upfront about where he wanted to play. As for Jennings, he was so upset Knicks didn’t draft him he went on to vouch that he will make them regret not picking him. I personally still would rather have just about anyone else play point than a chuck PG who is shooting 30% in 2010. The PGs that went after him that I would rather have – Lawson, Collison, Beaubois, Holiday. I am also very happy with Douglas going forward Jennings is still living off his first month hype because nobody had any scouting report on him and he was a big mystery. Once they figured out what he was about they shut down that little skinny scrub.

Knicks do not have the personell to play as fast so Dantoni slowed it down and also Curry would be averaging more and being on a team that is better than the GSW and has a more promising future. If they Knicks had GSW talent they would be a lock for the playoffs yet GSW cant seem to win with what they have. Jennings numbers would be around the same though if he played in New York and with Jennings instead of Duhon, Knicks would have a least 30 something wins right now.

it is a shame knicks didnt get curry tho, they were like a match made in heaven. I still blame it all on Donnie because he announced his love for Curry early when he wasn’t even considered a top 10 pick, and suddenly he sky rocketed up the draft boards.

They could have still gotten him with a trade with Washington who was just trying to get rid of their pic which i thought was stupid but hey that is Washington problem. Imagine if they move up take Curry and then Draft Thornton in the late first with a pick they buy from some team picking late like they did with Douglas. They would have had a nice young core with Curry Thornton and Chandler along with Gallin, Lee and whomever. Maybe they dont have enough for two max contracts but they still have enough for one and a better team

I like Douglas though and im pretty excited to see what he can do with extended minutes, whenever he has seen the floor he has been very productive.
