There is a huge culture gap for players coming from overseas to the NBA. I’m starting to think the Wolves may have brought Millicic in not only to see if there is in fact any potential they can still harvest from him, but to also help comfort Nikola Pekovic as he may be coming over next season. It would be similar to when the Red Sox brought in Okajima to help Matsuzaka and ended up actually getting a good player in Okajima.

Thats not what I’m saying GatHator. Pekovic is probably coming over next season regardless. What I’m saying is that it could make his transition to the USA and NBA ball easier as he would have someone to relate to on the team.

Darko has already said he wants to go back to europe next year so unless the wolves are throwing big money and alot of playing time at him he wont be back in minnesota, or the nba next season
