NYKnumba3Participantwhen u have boozer playiing like 3 years ago and dwill arguably best pg in league and a good supporting cast = run in playoffs but im more intrigued what they do this off season then this playoffs they will replace boozer with milsap in starting rotation but if they dont sign a scoring sg they can probably say bye bye to deron when his contrack is up (i wannna say 2 years)

j1232eParticipantI think the booz will resign and we will draft either monroe or the troubled cousins (as butidonthavemoneyman) I think cousins is what jerry sloan and the utah jazz need.

llperezthe biggest advantage the lakers have had on the jazz in the last 2 playoffs is the length down low. Boozer and millsap are both 6-9 or under and okur likes playing on the perimiter. The jazz really just need a legit 7 footer to rebound and defend down low. Of course that’s easier said then done. But i enjoy watching them. Boozer has been playing great and they do a good job playing hard on every possesion. I said like 5 or 6 years ago that i would pick Sloan for coach of the year every season until he get’s one regardless of whether he’s the best candidate or not. He should have got it awhile ago.

butidonthavemoneyIf the Jazz go big…
Favors, Whiteside, Motiejunas — Big Time Potential
Monroe, Aldrich — Perfect Fits for Utah System
If the Jazz go wing…
Wall, Turner — Big Time Potential
Johnson — Perfect Fit for Utah System

j1232eParticipanthe is big and will get huge! But I think the jaz will select aldrich. Personally I hate this pick, sloan will only be around for another 1 or 2 years phil jonhnson will accept cousins and he wiil be a force. If old jerry coaches another few years and they draft Monroe. Monroe will be an Allstar in 4 years.

butidonthavemoneyThe Jazz need defense down low. They need a tough player.
They don’t need a player with poor conditioning that whines after every call and punches fans after he loses a game. If we don’t start him right away he will argue with the coach and I think you are under-estimating Phil Johnson.
He will be a cancer in the wrong situation, and Utah is the wrong situation.
The Jazz are too smart to draft DeMarcus Cousins.

kenkParticipantBut you guys fixate on Utah? I mean I like the Jazz and Williams is one of my favorite players but no mention of Hawks winning the game – it has been 17 years since Hawks even won in Utah.

butidonthavemoneyWe are Jazz fans. Haha, that’s why we fixate on Utah.

kenkParticipantAK 47 is a fav – I think Williams will be better than CP3 after the knee injury by Paul.
Fact remains Hawks won

butidonthavemoneyWe know the Hawks won. We were talking about the Jazz/Blazers game on ESPN.
AK-47 has been my favorite player since 2004. Before that my favorite was John Stockton.

SwatLakeCityParticipantWell it looks like t-mac is hurt, and hughes is not that great of a replacement, nor his house, to small. So the jazz may be in luck and they could go for Whiteside or Turner, Johnson, or Monroe. Next season should be awesome. The jazz will never draft Cousins not by a longshot. And the playoffs will be freakin’ awesome. Booz should resign with Utah in the offseason.

tonyl33ParticipantI think the Jazz needs to draft Cousins. Reason why? Because they need that swagger. If they want to win a championship they need someone to do the talking someone to be that bad boy of the team. As of right now their nothing but a bunch of nice guys. You need that one player, that guy with the swagger to win a championship. You need the Rodman of the game and I can see Cousins bring that to any team that drafts him and I think Utah needs that the most. Knowing Utah, they’ll probably draft Monroe if they can get their hands on him because he’s a passing Big, perfect fit for Jerry’s pick and role.
