My vote is for Morey, from the Houston Rockets. Yesterday, I would have said Ainge, from Cleveland.

JORDAN HILL, KEVIN MARTIN + 2 first round picks for washed up tracy mcgrady who was going to walk anyway?! wow. (ok, and carl landry and dorsey)

Ainge still had a pretty stellar swap, Z and a 1st rounder for JAMISON?! AND telfair?! very niceeeee.

    thoughts?

Yea… I’ll give it to Morey, but losing Landry hurts.

living in houston, and being a rockets fan(just a fan, i like them but Phoenix is my team), the way this deal is being looked at is the rockets got a good wing player that should compliment yao well and may not get injured as much now that there are better options on this team, simply said he wont have to do as much so maybe his body will be saved. so they got a good wing player, a young promising big in jordan hill, and 2 1st round picks for carl landry and thats it. yea we got rid of mcgrady but he wasnt playing anyway. and people here didnt think, and rightfully so, that we could get a lebron, wade, bosh, or joe johnson. so we went out and got a 27 year old scoring guard who, when healthy can get 20ppg. So here is their lineup for next year:

    PG- Aaron Brooks/ Kyle Lowry
SG- Kevin Martin / Chase Budinger
SF- Trevor Ariza / Shane Battier
PF- Luis Scola / Jared Jeffires
C- Yao Ming / Jordan Hill

And they should have money to get another solid big to backup Yao. Yes Carl Landry will be missed, and yes this is a risky trade with Martin. But with no big free agents coming to Houston, they got the most they could out of McGrady and his contract.

xbadgerhustler, Ainge is the GM of the Celtics, not the Cavs

Without a doubt; Deadly shooter/scorer in Martin, 2011 First swap, prolly 2012 first, and Hill who has more long-term potential than Landry, and all this for the afformentioned Landry and not-even-playing TMac!?! Why don’t the Sixers get a GM wit a brain like this! Rockets fans are very lucky

i think dallas, houston, and cleveland all three of them benifited the most…not in that order but all three didnt give much (exept landry) and got some really good players back…and good job with those 2 first round picks houston got…wow props to houston GM
