gatorheelsParticipantNo surprise here. I’m sure there are a lot of scouts at every Kentucky game. I read in the local paper (I live in Kentucky) that there were scouts from 20 teams at the Kentucky game when they played Ole Miss on February 2nd.
These NBA teams had one scout at the game: Hawks, Bulls, Bobcats, Clippers, Lakers, Bucks, TWolves, 76ers, Hornets, Knicks, Thunder, Suns, Kings & Spurs.
These teams had 2 scouts at the game: Warriors, Heat, Nets, Magic, Blazers (Blazers, Magic, & Heat thinking of trading up?) (Warriors like Cousins?)
The INDIANA PACERS had 3 Scouts at the game. Hahahaha they really want John Wall bad!
Anyways this is what the scouts saw… Stats from that game
STARTERS MIN FGM-A 3PM-A FTM-A OREB REB AST STL BLK TO PF PTS Patrick Patterson, F 31 4-9 1-2 3-3 4 6 2 0 2 1 2 12 DeMarcus Cousins, F 29 6-14 0-0 6-10 9 13 0 0 4 1 3 18 Darnell Dodson, G 16 4-5 4-5 2-2 0 3 1 0 0 0 1 14 Eric Bledsoe, G 37 4-10 0-3 0-0 0 3 8 4 0 7 2 8 John Wall, G 36 6-10 2-3 3-3 0 2 7 1 1 4 2 17 0 - Posted on: Wed, 02/10/2010 - 10:01am #254550

butidonthavemoneyGood info.
The Pacers better not start tanking…
Why do you say the Warriors might like Cousins? Just an assumption based on their projected draft position and team needs? Or somewhat-legit, juicy gossip-rumors?
Fill meh in, o muy brother.

quinceyhodgesall the top teams have a bunch of scouts at games though.as long as you have some first or second round nba talent then the scouts are at the game. they just arent announced at all the games. and alot are there for the 3rd best players because they know they wont be bad enough to pick the best …example wall.. hes not dropping past 2. alot of people dont under stand that and think all of the scouts are there to see the top player

gatorheelsParticipantYeah I have a feeling the Pacers are going to tank it bad here pretty soon lol
Nope, haven’t heard any rumors about who the Warriors are interested in. They are one of my favorite teams & I know they could really use Cousins. Him & Coach Nelson probably wouldn’t get along though haha. Hopefully Nelson is gone after this season. Golden State has to get a physical Center. Cousins is the best true Center in the draft I think so I just imagine Golden State has to take a long look at him.

Prospect21ParticipantNo BS….looking at the boxscore I believe Eric Bledsoe might have some people looking at him for this year draft.

quinceyhodgesim sure there were scouts looking at bledose as a second round pick if he comes out. you’d be suprised how many of the scouts are scouting the players who are 4th options or on the bench so they could pick up in the late second round also or for next year

finneganParticipantsacramento will get cousins….. tyreke needs elite bigman

gatorheelsParticipantIf Kentucky wins it all which is a pretty good chance of that happening I believe Bledsoe would go ahead & enter the draft. His stock isn’t going to get any higher if that occurs. Calipari is the type of coach that will tell Bledsoe to go ahead & leave if his stock is high. Bledsoe would be a 1st Round pick if he plays well in the tournament.
Yeah Cousins on the Kings with Tyreke would be Sick.

JNixonParticipantI think some of those scouts should’ve taken notice of Terrico White. Also Chris Warren, Murphy Holloway, and Eniel Polynice are prospects even though they are very long shots. So I think Ole Miss may have gotten some looks at the game as well, although obviously not like Kentucky

quinceyhodgesi think even if they win it bledsoe should come back. he hasnt shown how good of a pg he is just yet. the ast -turnover ration as a sg doesnt help at all

gatorheelsParticipantI agree quincey I think Bledsoe should come back no matter what but we will see what happens.
You all think Terrico White will enter the draft this year?

JNixonParticipantYea. He’ll never get to show his full offensive game with the ball-hog that is Chris Warren on his team. He probably should return to polish his handle, but he won’t get to be the go-to guy because of Warren

gatorheelsParticipantI agree I don’t think he can increase his stock any higher by staying at Ole Miss for another year.
What Terrico White does in the draft workouts is really going to decide his fate. With impressive workouts he could really increase his stock. Then again he could end up a 2nd round pick.
