    Matisse looks like he has the potential to be a great 3 & D players in the league. He has incredible length and defensive awareness. His shot has been impressive as well. He has taken over a couple of games during his limited minutes. He has been taking smart shots and not forcing his hand. I’m looking forward to watching him continue to grow. He is reminding me a bit of a young Kawhi Leonard early on before Kawhi developed his offense. He should end up becoming a big time COG for the sixers.

    Yeah he plays defense at a different level than everyone. Big time defensive playmaker. Reminds me of that Ravens team from back in the with Ed Reed when they were just taking the ball away from everyone . He has some sick moves like when he lets you go past him then pokes the ball away from you.

    Thybulle will carve a nice Andre Roberson type career. Everyone was saying because he only played zone in college they were worried how his defense would translate to NBA, but I knew he was the best defensive player in the draft.

    He had had a couple more great games since this post was made. What a great pick by Elton Brand. Sixers are still a scoring guard away from winning a championship…and maybe a new coach( IMO). But as far as rookies on playoff teams go, Matisse is probably the most valuable
