Say Toronto and La do the Bosh-Bynum deal….

Well, this isn’t happening and I think that’s pretty well established.

Still, I’ll answer the only question that matters: If Bynum could be the best center in the East, that would mean he could be the best center in the NBA. And no, I don’t see him bettering Howard. 

You know the thing that surprises me about this trade…I talked to all my friends that are L.A. fans and they would rather keep Bynum. I know he is a defensive presence, but he is not been producing up to his potential and he is injury prone…If I was LA i’d say do it.

How do we know it still isn’t on the table?

Also, I disagree. I believe Andrew Bynum’s low post game in the East could make him a 25-13 guy if he’s the #1 option ( which he would be in Toronto)

also, I don’t believe Dwight Howard will develop the post moves he needs.

I would disagree with you on just about everything you’ve said.

• No one aside from the New York Post, a pretty discredited source, has confirmed this rumor.
• I would actually say Bargnani becomes the lead scorer if this trade somehow did happen.
• Not sure why you’re giving Bynum elite rebounding numbers out of nowhere.
• Howard is already developing some potentially elite post moves.

I say on most nights Bynum will get more looks

so passing the ball in to Bynum would be the 1st option logically

i dont think those numbers are out of no where adi.. acually i know they arent. bynum was getting 10 or 11 reb a game while gasol was hurt at 22years old. is it really that unbelievable to think he cant get 3 more rebounds out east?. bynum is more important then brani.. i bet if the lakers offered him for andre then toronto would jump on it. bynum has amuch higher ceiling as well. i hear alot about how bynum has the potential to be great. i dont hear that so much about andre. as far as laker fans opinion. i have alot of laker fans and im one as well. most would liek to keep bynum but wouldnt be mad if the trade went down either because of how good bosh is

itshard to turn down one for bosh but its understandable when you are talking about a 22 year old center who u know can put up 20 and 10 with about 2 blocks and is about 3 years from entering his prime

bargnani is clearly a gem, like hes just getting better and better and showing not just flashes but greatness in general his defence has skyrocketed…he straight up shut down howard in more than one occasion and his inside outside game is great and hes surprisingly quicker than ppl take him for, even dirk thinks hes growing faster as an elite than he did….yes i think bynum is great but there is no way hed be the number one option, bargnani has so many tools and i dont think bynums hooks and 15 footers will make him a first option, and i especially dont think colangelo is trading his number one pick in bargnani for bynum…i think bynum is a tremendous player but certainly i dont think u can trade bargs for him. but bosh sure hes potentially walking anyways..might as well bring in a rebounding defender

Bynum is a proven 18-10 guy when he’s not paired with Gasol. He did it for long stretches 3 straight years, so it’s not even a question any more of if. Personally, I would rather bynum over bosh just due to the defense and rebounding that he gives that bosh won’t. Bosh is better, but as a offensive minded pf, somehting the lakers already have in gasol. As for bynum getting lit up by dwight, that was for one quarter and you could tell bynum was playing soft because he dind’t want to pick up his third foul right away after sitting out most the first quarter. Once the second half started and he was allowed to get physical again without worrying about fouls, he did and Dwight wasn’t dominating anything.

On a perimeter oriented team like the Raptors, I find it very hard to believe that Bynum would be the first option- even though he is indeed very good. I’m not so sure how well he would fit in with the Raptors style of play to begin with in the first place. Bargnani has a much more polished offensive game right now and Turkoglu has to have the ball to be effective anyway. I agree it woulde be most effective to feed Bynum the most, but tthat likely would not happen if he were on the Raptors.

teams teams to change the way they do things when get a good big man. especially if the style of play they have been going with hasn made them a top team
