    I don’t think their is a clear cut favorite to win it all this season.  However, Kansas is probably the favorite according to the oddsmakers.  I don’t want to see Kansas win it all, I’ll be honest.  So my question is:  

    What type of team can beat Kansas?  Or what type of team can cause them lots of trouble?

    Team A- Very small but quick guards.  Guards are not great 3 point shooters.  No true wing player.  Big men are a little undersized but play tough.  They also have a few big men that can spread the floor & shoot long jumpers fairly consistently. 

    Team B- Small quick guards that can shoot. No true wing player. Big men are unexperienced for the most part.  Big men are raw offensively.  Lots of depth.  Very scrappy team. 

    Team C- Small quick guards that can shoot.  Multiple wing players that are skilled.  Big men are not very skilled but they do have some descent size & depth in the post.  Overall this is a great 3 point shooting team.

    Team D- Guards are inconsistent shooters.  Guards are below average athletes. Wing players are athletic but are primarily slashers. Very Big bodies in the post, very physical. Post players can score but mainly just close to the basket.  Overall very good defensive team but they struggle a lot on offense.  Only one consistent deep shooter.

    I was just using these different options as examples. So what type of team would have the best chance at knocking off the Jayhawks. You can make up your own perfect Kansas killer team if you want. haha

    Team D- with a mix of uptempo guards that can get bigs in foul trouble

    i dont know kansas has all the tools to go all the way impo (esp with upperclassmen leadership)

    I dont watch NCAA all that much anymore but I thought I’d chime in

    I think it is more interesting to discuss actual teams that may cause a matchup problem….Obvoiusly Kentucky and Texas are talented enough to beat Kansas but one team that Kansas would definitely not want to run into is OSU with their NBA sized backcourt

    Texas 😀 so biased and I’ll admit it, but quite honestly with Dexter Pittman down low, Gary Johnson & Damion James, Lucas, Bradley, Hamilton, and Balbay…we got a pretty darn good team. I know I’m missin’ some…my mind always goes blank when it comes to Texas Roster for Basketball

    Team C seems best. Kansas’ backcourt players aren’t very good defenders, with Tyshawn Taylor being an exception. Remember how a small, quick guard with shooting ability named Ben Woodside did them in the tourny last year? I think with athletic bigs that aren’t that skilled will be good for them too, as they can make it hard for Aldrich to score cleanly. Team C sounds alot like Kansas State.

    I had a few teams in my mind when I was making those descriptions.  I know I didn’t describe the teams perfectly but here they are:

    Team A- Florida

    Team B- Villanova

    Team C- California

    Team D- Vanderbilt

    I haven’t watched Kansas enough this year to really know their weakness that is why I was just curious to find out what could potentially cause them big problems.
