    My Draft Rankings?

100- John Wall, PG, Kentucky- Hit a game-winner in his season debut. With many games against good teams ( Tennessee, UConn, UNC) Wall will have many chances to show he can be the #1 pick. Comparison- Derrick Rose

98- Evan Turner, PG-SF, Ohio State- Triple-Double in his 1st game, 17 rebounds in his 1st 2 games and in all 4 games, 20 point games in all 4. I say Turner has the skills to be the #2 pick overall. Comparison- Brandon Roy

97-Greg Monroe, PF-C, Georgetown- Monroe has done well so far. I think his scoring ability can improve but I see him as one of the most safest players in the NCAA’s. Comparison- Chris Webber

96-Derrick Favors, PF, Georgia Tech- For alot of players, it’s hard to tell. Favors look well in his 1st 2 games but I had to drop him slightly because he is not having that impact we expected.

95-Willie Warren, PG, Oklahoma- Warren is probably the best PG after John Wall. I want to see Warren more as a overall player and not a offensive weapon. He’s rated 95 and he doesn’t play defense well.

95-Al-Farouq Aminu, SF, Wake Forest- Aminu has been doing very well. I see him as a extreme prospect. I think he will either be a superstar or a bust at the next level. Aminu needs to show me he is a franchise type player.

95-Cole Aldrich, C, Kansas- Aldrich is a stud. He can score very well and rebound. I can still remember the Triple Double against Dayton. I see Aldrich being a Center in the NBA.

95-Ed Davis, PF, North Carolina- Ed Davis is another name who dropped to me. I think he needs to fit into UNC’s system. He went from the 6th man to the 2nd option. By January, I think he can be right back into the top 5.

94-Xavier Henry, SG, Kansas- I’m high on Xavier Henry. I feel he can be another great player out of Kansas. He has the skills of players past. I feel he has the offensive ability of Paul Pierce and defensive ability of Brandon Rush.

94- Wesley Johnson, SG-SF, Syracuse- He had many big games so far. I think Johnson will be a top 10 pick. He has the size and speed to be a good player and his potential is underrated at this point. I hear many people compare him to Shawn Marion.

    Out the Top 10

93- Dontas Motiejunas, International- Going off of word here. He tore up the recent Nike Hoop Summit. He has the size ( 7′-0”) and shooting ability to remind scouts of (Gasp!) Dirk Nowitzki.

93-John Henson, SF, North Carolina- Henson is making his way to learn the SF position. If he can hold it down, I feel he can be a top 3 pick. My question is can he gain more wieght during the season? He looks about 190 pounds.

93- Devin Ebanks, SF, West Virgina- The man people want to see is a 20 point, 8 rebound, 4 assist guy. But I don’t see it in Ebanks. Ebanks have many games to prove me wrong but he has to step up.

92- Soloman Alabi, C, Florida State- The Hasheem Thabeet #2 overall pick move made Alabi a hot name in 2010. I see Alabi as a 2nd tier guy. He can be a force inside but I want to see more. Thabeet scored alot in college before coming out.

92-Terrico White, PG-SG, Mississippi- White can be a really good player. I see him playing the 2 now as well. White can be a PG-SG combo guy who can score. I think in order to move up the rankings, White must improve his playmaking.

92- DeMarcus Cousins, PF, Kentucky- Cousins will move up and down the board. He will have monster games but he will have those ” WTF” games as well. Gotta wait if he is the real deal.

91-Paul George, SF, Fresno State- I know. Fresno State? But Yes, George is a monster. I see him with Kobe Bryant style potential. His size and ability to get to the basket? I call it scary.

90- Craig Brackins, PF, Iowa State- Brackins has alot of talent. I want to see some upsets this year. I want Brackins to help Iowa State be a contender. He can score and rebound very well. Must defend a bit better.

89- Lance Stephenson, SG, Cincinnati- Talent Wise? Lance is a 98 but with issues, he had to fall. Stephenson can play the PG, SG and SF positions and his intensity is similar to a NBA superstar. IF he can be on his best behavior, he will be a lotto pick

88- Larry Sanders, PF, VCU- I think Sanders has alot to prove. Many people like the fact he can be a low post scorer but I want to see him dominate more games with Eric Maynor gone. He needs a couple 20-10 games to maintain draft stock.

I think you rate Monroe too high and Sanders too low. Other than that I think your right on the money

yeah warren plays the sg now but has the potential to play the point which is a very good thing for the pro’s

i still have not seen paul george play so i dont know much about him

monroe has played ok but hasn’t made that soph leap that i expected from him

not really sure how much more you want aminu to show you though because hes been a straight beast..i mean 23 and 10 with 68fg and 50from 3 theres isnt much more he can do is there?..most if not all of the players wont be franchise players but alot have the potential to be pretty good players

i dont think it is fair to rank players at least till the teams go to conference play, right now the good teams are just beating up garbage for the most part, give it another few weeks

I think teams are going to be disappointed in Ed Davis when they select him in the lottery…he doesn’t seem like more than a bench player to me. He’s not real talented offensively, and he’s going to be too weak to be a post defender. And he’s not esp. tall to bother NBA players with his length. He seems like Brandan Wright more than Chris Bosh..

    My Draft Rankings

John Wall=99.9. He is amazing. He is probablyone of the fastest players I have ever seen, and has the quickest burst of speed ive ever seen, and he is superior athletically. His jumper could improve, so can his D, But he is a sure-fire star.

Paul George=96. He has all the makings of a top-tier guard. He has a sweet J, an array of moves on the perimeter, (although his handle could improve some), and supreme athleticism with a very quick 1st step, he is a run-n-jump athlete, his game does have some holes though such as his slight frame, and his improving handle. Overall I think he is a future go-to scorer, and upper-tier player.

Donatas Motiejunas=96. He can do everything on the offensive side of the ball. He has the handle of a guard, Could beat probably any bigman off the dribble, and has a sweet jumper. He could get stronger and keep working on those post moves, but besides that he is a very unique player to say the least. Just on potential alone I think it will be very hard to pass him up, at any point.

Derrick Favors=94. He has elite athleticism, and he has a great matchup nightmare qualities at any level, but I have a couple concerns. Is he a 3 or 4? If he is a 3 how will he even attempt to score on the perimeter? If he is a 4 does he have the post up moves necessary to score at the next level? He is very very raw at either position, he scores strictly off of bullying his defender and grabbing offensive reb’s. that will need to change. Because of his potential how can you pass on him though?

Greg Monroe=93. He is one of the most unique players Ive seen in a while. He is 6-11 yet he moves and operates like a guard. He too is a matchup nightmare for anyone. His athleticism is far underrated (late career C-Webb? You have got to be kidding me) because he doesn’t utilize it at times. He has a nice J out to 20 feet and can beat mostly any PF off the dribble. I have only 1 major concern, which is, will he start playing like a star?

Wait scratch Monroe and I think John Henson nips him by alittle. Henson just has more potential at every phase of the game.

Outside looking in: Kemba Walker, Evan Turner, Cole Aldrich, Ed Davis……….

what the hell was draft express thinking too…i think i was the select few who didnt think he would be the first option on the team this year or that his offense would still be raw

I did too, I called him the most overrated draft prospect for the 2010 draft…he’s not that great to me and I don’t think he’ll ever be more than a bench player.

I know I’ve been hating on Brackins for quite some time, I’m not in denial or anything, but he isn’t going to turn Iowa State in to a contender, or even a top 8 team in the Big 12. He is often compared to Shareef Abdur Raheem which I can see the similarities of their game, but he is a poor man’s S.A.F. I watch a lot of big 12 basketball and the only reason he is on everyone’s radar is because he hung 40 on a sweet 16 team in a loss. I’m not saying he isn’t good or isn’t deserving of a 1st round pick ( I’d rate him in the 15-25 range ) but Brackins as a top 10 pick is not going to happen. You’d have to go back a few years to find a top 10 pick who played for that bad of a team, and especially because this draft has so many good power forward prospects. In March or April when Patterson, Monroe, Davis, Aminu, Favors and others are playing in the big dance improving their stock, Brackins season will be over and he’s not a freak enough athlete to be picked that high on potential.
