valentine1st they trade his buddie Chandler..Now the only nba coached he’s ever played for is fired…Some say Paul is heartbroken with Scott firing..Not only was Scott his coach ..They were pretty close friends off the court…Plus the team’s lack of depth is putting more pressure on Paul…

JNixonParticipantI don’t like the way the Hornets are looking one bit…they could have a miserable, 08-09 Washington Wizards-esque season if they don’t make a trade to get them some punch offensively.

Henry25ParticipantThe Hornets are on a downward spiral. They have nobody on that team that can create his own shot outside of CP3. David West is good, but CP3 makes him look a lot better by getting him so many open looks. They desperately need to pull of a trade for a shooting guard that can create for himself and others. If I were the Hornets I would look seriously into getting T-Mac on their team through a trade for this year, if he really is healthy and back to his old self then he would be a very good fit. Just a thought, because if the Hornets don’t make a move and miss the playoffs then I could probably see CP3 asking for a trade over the summer.

llpereztmac is a head scrathcher to the hornets, how would it work? TMac makes 23 mill this year and is coming off the books at the end of the season. That means the Hornets would have to give Houston back 23 mill worth in contracts, and none of the Hornets high cotracts are playing well or coming off the books. You honestly think the Rockets are gonna give up 23 mill in money for next summer so they can bring on long term guys like West, Peja, MoPete, Posey, or Okafor? No way the rockets make that trade instead of just using 23 mill this offeason in what is the deepest FA pool in years.
Not trying to sound stuck up, but for all the bball knowledge on this site, some of you guys don’t seem to comprehend the whole salary and contract part of what goes on.
