Duke freshman and former Chaminade basketball star Jayson Tatum sustained a foot injury during the team's pro day on Tuesday, according to multiple reports.

Seth Greenberg, a college basketball analyst for ESPN, provided no other details, but said early Tuesday morning that he planned on attending the workout for NBA scouts.
Other media members have since confirmed an injury, but details remained scarce Tuesday evening.
NBA guys raving to me about Jayson Tatum after first pro day and through today -- until injury at end. Still unclear severity of the injury.

Duke has not commented on Tatum's status. Attempts to reach the Tatum family were unsuccessful.
Tatum ended his Chaminade career as one of the most decorated basketball players in St. Louis history. The 6-foot-9 forward is projected as a top-10 pick in the 2017 NBA draft. Tatum averaged 30 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block during a senior season that claimed a Class 5 state title for Chaminade. Tatum in March joined fellow Chaminade product Brad Beal as the only players from Missouri to be named Gatorade's national player of the year.

The 2016-17 Blue Devils are the overwhelming favorite to win the national championship. But a significant injury to Tatum would make two health-related concerns for Mike Krzyzewski's team. Forward Harry Giles, another celebrated freshman, underwent a knee operation earlier this month, which could delay his college debut.
