Less than two weeks removed from the announcement that he would be leaving Kansas, point guard Connor Frankamp is getting ready to make his second visit, according to a report from the Denver Post.

Frankamp is expected to make his way to Colorado this weekend to visit the school. This comes of the heels of a visit to Wichita State last week.

Frankamp was the No. 34 recruit in the Class of 2013, according to Rivals, and a part of the recruiting class that included Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid. The 6-foot- guard is a sharpshooter and played a major role during the two Kansas NCAA tournament games, but his role with the Jayhawks seemed limited moving forward.

He announced his decision to transfer last week.

“I’ve been thinking about this for a while now,” Frankamp said in a Oct. 31 statement. “I love KU and I love the Jayhawks. I feel like I’ve improved quite a bit since I’ve been here. I love my teammates but I just don’t feel like it’s the right fit for me. We have many good guards and so many big-time players. I want to be at a place where I could play a bigger role.”

Frankamp is a Wichita native. He will be eligible to play after the first semester of the 2015-2016 season.
