Marquise Mosley hit the game-winning three-pointer with five seconds left just as the shot clock expired to lift Renaissance Academy to a 58-55 victory over View Park in the Southern California Regional Division V final at Colony High.

View Park guard Jordan Starling missed a three-pointer at the final buzzer that would’ve forced overtime.

KJ Okmanas led the top-seeded Wildcats (24-7) with 16 points, Mosley had 14 points and Marty Gaizauskas had 14 points and 14 rebounds for Renaissance Academy.

“I was wide open, Marty made a great pass and I was aware of the shot clock,” Mosley said of his three-pointer from the top of the key. “I knew I didn’t have much time to release it. We’ll celebrate this today, but we’re still not done yet.”

Chance Comanche had 14 points and 15 rebounds and Darryl McMillon and Luis Medearis each added 11 for the third-seeded Knights (24-6), who took their first lead, 47-46, on Trammel Wilson’s three-pointer with 6:15 left in the game.

View Park trailed by 15 points with five minutes left in the second quarter but pulled even at halftime on Medearis’ three-pointer at the buzzer.

Renaissance Academy will play Northern Regional winner St. Joseph Notre Dame at noon next Friday at Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento.
