Strengths: At 7’2 with a 7’5.5 wingspan he possesses excellent positional size and length … Smooth and coordinated athlete … Runs the floor, spaces well and is able to complete plays above the rim … Puts immense pressure on the defense as a roller in the P&R … Confident stepping out to 15 feet and knocking down faceup and spot up jumpers … Shows a soft touch with a knack for utilizing the glass on midrange shots … Has ability to become a consistent outside threat … Can put it on the floor 1-2 dribbles and attack the basket … Developing rim protector with ability to block and alter shots on the ball from the weakside … Shows potential to become an elite rebounder, coralling missed shots well outside his area … Moves his feet and is able to contain quicker ballhandlers in switch scenarios … Capable P&R defender in various schemes thanks to his length and mobility.
Weaknesses: Still very young in terms of basketball experience … Has only played a couple full seasons in a competitive setting. Has put in tremendous work on his body and has added added weight in the last 2 years, but still needs to continue to get stronger and more comfortable playing against contact … Long and narrow frame may not allow him to ever add substantial mass … Can get pushed out of position on the glass and on the block by stronger defenders … Adding to his faceup repertoire will allow him to utilize his quickness against opposing bigs … Can be foul prone at times trying to block shots emphatically and putting himself out of positon …
Notes: Plays at Ryerson college in Toronto, Canada … Hails from Dakar, Senegal …Considered by some as a potential draft pick due to his size and potential …
