Roselle Catholic forward Chris Silva will cut his college list to five schools on Aug. 17, Silva told NJ Advance Media on Monday. This comes days after he announced via Twitter that he would make his final choice on Sept. 19.
SMU, Rhode Island, Syracuse, South Carolina, Georgetown, South Florida, Rutgers, Cincinnati, Creighton and Kansas State have all offered Silva, but Seton Hall and Villanova are thought to be the favorites for his commitment.
Silva averaged 8.8 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game last season as Roselle Catholic repeated as Non-Public B champions to make it back to the Tournament of Champions.
