The 6-foot-9, 210-pound Hall, a four-star prospect according to ESPN, helped lead the Tigers to the Class 2A state finals. He made the all-tournament team in the state tournament despite missing much of the first half of the championship game in foul trouble. Luverne lost in the finals to Elba, 66-61.

Hall emerged as one of the top post players in the state after a 2013 season that ended with a 51-50 loss to eventual state champion Tanner in the semifinals of the state tournament.

The Tigers returned to the state tournament in 2014 after Hall put on a dominating performance to earn Central Regional most valuable player honors. He averaged 11.7 points, 10.1 rebounds and 6.7 blocked shots per game as a junior in 2014.

Hall earned honorable mention all-state honors as a sophomore and was named to the first team in Class 2A by the Alabama Sports Writers Association this past season. He is considered one of the leading candidates for Mr. Basketball in 2015.

Hall's coach, Richard Dorsey, confirmed Hall's commitment after the junior had received scholarship offers from Georgia, Mississippi State, Troy and West Virginia. He joins G.W. Carver High small forward Brandon Austin as Alabama commitments for the 2015 season.
