Syracuse, N.Y. — Dajuan Coleman continues to make physical progress.

The Syracuse University big man, rehabilitating from knee surgery last winter, has progressed to select practice drills that involve contact. Coleman has been allowed to participate in early group exercises with the centers that involve cutting, screening, maneuvering for position and shooting.

On Tuesday, he was also involved in a drill with SU guards that simulated pick and roll situations.

Coleman, said SU athletic trainer Brad Pike, is progressing on schedule. Pike is easing him back into contact action as Coleman simultaneously works to strengthen his leg and add other components that will allow him to compete on the basketball court.

There is no timetable for Coleman's return. Pike said Tuesday the plan remains for Coleman to return to the team some time this season.

The accompanying video shows the way Coleman was moving during Tuesday's practice.
