COACH OF THE YEAR
Pat Yerina, Bunnell (Stratford)
Seven different players scored for the Bulldogs (24-4) in the championship game against Naugatuck and Bunnell overcame an early deficit in the Class L title game for its 10th straight win, and first state title – after several recent years of frustration from coming up short.

The Pittsburgh commit was the best player on the best team in the state. The Hearts went undefeated and Heron scored a game-high 32 points in the Class S title game with his future college coach, Jamie Dixon, in attendance.
