Thats a fair comparison, hate that we never got to see jay William blossom. Becuz of that motorcycle accident. When Fultz was in college his play reminded me of James Harden .

Rumors say he got in a motor cycle accident after Summer League in his rookie year…and Fultz and his agent have been trying to cover it up.

I have no idea if this is credible but that is what he is talking about.

I would believe that if not for the fact that the 76ers and shoulder specialists didn’t really find anything that would explain his shot. An injury would be much better than the likely mental issues as he was good in Summer League and he’s been terrible shooting the ball ever since.

Everything Fultz has done to his shot since coming to the NBA— releasing the shot on the way down, "hitching" at his shoulder during the shot, double pumping his free throws— puts MORE pressure on his shoulder, not less. Nothing about the way he plays is consistent with an injury to the shoulder.

It would if he had nerve damage.

Wouldn’t the doctors and specialists have noticed if he had nerve damage?

Depends on a lot of things but I can see it being missed if he withheld info or out right lied to the doctor about how it happened

Something happened to Fultz in-between summer league and the start of his rookie year. I’m not buying its purely mental

Look at his shot here in summer league

There is nothing wrong with it. Two months later is completely broken.

Double Post for life. He should hook up with Charissa Thompson and film it for conformation.

Word is out there that the Cavs have been interested in Fultz –

    http://amicohoops.net/sources-cavaliers-have-spoken-to-sixers-about-fultz/

Seems like an odd fit to me considering they drafted Sexton and have Clarkson and Hill.

Also, if it’s for Korver, it’s a fit for Philly, but he’s like 47 years old already, so thats selling pretty low.

In the college version of Fultz, I saw flashes of Penny Hardaway. I’ve seen flashes of unemployment since stepping into the league though. Since that first change in his shot, it’s just become worse. It’s one of the strangest things I’ve ever seen, whether it bcos of a motorbike accident, shoulder injury, mental illness, whatever. He’s unplayable. Good luck to him tho. He’s just 20. There’s plenty of time.

Philly might have interest in Korver but would they give up on Fultz to get him.

If Fultz and his people have been covering up a bike crash then there could be issues with his contract insuramce etc I’d think.

1st in the Social Media world we live in where Everyone has a Cell Phone there is NO way the #1 pick in the 2017 Draft could have crashed a Motor Cycle & it escapes the Media or the Social Media Rumor Mill

The GM of this same team was Outted by an anonymous fan using Simple Open Source software to compare writing samples of Millions of Tweets to dicern patterns to take down a 50 y/o GM who’s Job depended on Secrecy

You’re telling me a 19 y/o who is on social media 24/7/365 & has No ability to stay away from it & No one in his inner circle seems trustworthy in Any way & yet they pull off a cover up???

No way – in addition Fultz’s problems go WAY deeper than "Shooting" – Fultz is completely Lost on the court, seemingly incapable of properly executing the Basic fundamentals of the game – setting screens, switching, Moving his Feet on Defense instead of Using his hands & honestly, even in Summer League when he supposedly looked "good" has Anyone Ever seen a big time Guard prospect who gets his shot Blocked as often as Fultz!?!?!? I’ve Never seen a dribble penetration guard who is blocked THIS easily & often

I think about Joel Embiid’s freak injury late last season where Fultz collapsed his Eye socket & you can see Fultz fails to Sprint to his spot & make a Sharp cut – he lazily Jogs over & is in a bad position as Embiid used to the Sixers Precision Motion offense turns right into Fultz shoulder b/c Fultz is Not mentally there – I have Never seen a Ball player look so utterly Miserable on the Floor & Thrilled when he’s on the Bench – this kid has Seriously Issues & he needs a Shrink not a Shoulder Doc

You’re right he does look completely lost on the court whenever he doesn’t have the ball. I agree with everything you said. He needs to see a shrink more than anything.

He didn’t play most of last season. That’s probably why he had some trouble with the 76ers’ offense.

i have wondered if there could be a bit of a neurological factor too? sometimes the brain misfires and it can mess with your movement etc. i think its a very small chance of it being that of course but there is a chance i think
