I thought this maybe the case. Cousins is saying he got zero offers in free agency. Teams didnt wanna risk giving an injured big with past locker room issues a big deal. If this is true all the other GM’s in the league really opened the door for this to be possible.

Do you guys believe these claims?

No offers within a couple days? Wait. Fire your agent. He knows he could have gotten better than that monetarily, but he didn’t want it.

He’s probably tired of his image and finally said F it, I’ll be the villain.

The "no offers" means no one is willing to give him the max so he decided to raise his middle finger on the league and sign with the Warriors.

I also dont think he ruptured his achilles. He may have partially torn it but theres no way hes doing full sprints on treadmills 4 months after completely tearing his achilles being 7’foot 300 pounds its just impossible. I partially tore a ligament in my knee a much less severe injury and I wasnt doing any types of running, jogging and barely even limping after 4 months. Just dont see how thats possible.

Heres an article on all the players that suffered achilles injuries.

Heres a video showing the injuries.

Your rehab schedule is horrible……… I completely tore my ACL and medial and was playing semi professional rugby 5 months later.

That’s all good and well, but the ACL is weakest at 6 months post operation. It only becomes full strength between 9 and 12 months. You either had an artificial ligament or were given inappropriate advice

Thanks Doc! I’ve had 3 reconstructions and the latest one I played exactly 5 months and 3 weeks after getting LARS surgery. 6 days a week rehab and the best sports science crew in Australia.

You can’t make me believe that no team wanted him. Maybe not what he thought he deserved, but there’s no way 29 teams looked at him and decided to pass

28 teams. The Kings didn’t want him.

Well, it seems there were no tabled offers at all and he instructed his agent to call Golden State and Boston. Who would you have called? People are dirty that he has joined the Warriors, but when you were expected to draw max money and no one picked up the phone, you really have to go  to the best situation. So it wouldve been the best city to live in or the best team or a combo of both. I say all teams dropped the ball, even the Warriors, who are just fortunate they have the best team and cap space right now. Someone did some good work years ago that is still reaping rewards. Whoever made the decision to draft Klay at 11 and Draymond with that 2nd rd pick is responsible for all of this. Because both picks worked, they got Iggy, KD fell in their lap, and now Boogie has too. Whoever it was needs a fat ass raise.

Boston and Philly really shouldve been more proactive this offseason. They have assets to burn and shouldve been calling everyone.

     He should Fire his agent..

He should have at least gotten some calls maybe the following teams:

Thunder he could have been our 6th man until he was healthy and then replaced Melo next year…

Lakers- He should have at least gotten a 2 year deal. A make good deal.

Wizards-This made me wonder why they didn’t even call him..

Pelicans gave him up for nothing…

Houston..If they lost Capela they at least would have had another 3 point shooter on the squad…

Celtics..Could have used him off the bench or to eventually replace Horford..

The league let this happen if he didn’t legit get any calls so…Am I fan of this move for the League no,is this a good move for him yes-He will either at least get some $ next deal or at least get a ring..But to be fair even if he comes back to 80% healthy I am sure teams will legit look at him next season if he proves he is a champion/has legit changed the supposed bad attitude.Who knows this signing might even break up the Warriors-Klay,K.D or Green may bail to get paid try win somewhere else…

thinking no one wanted to offer him a max deal and no one wanted to be the team to offer him a low ball offer and be labelled as making an insulting offer.
