As a T-Wolves and Sixers fan, I think a trade involving Big Al, the number #2, #4 pick, and some additions would be great for both of my favorite teams. I mean, you combine Big Al with DeMarcus Cousins (assuming he doesn’t go #3) that is one hell of a punishing duo down low for many years to come. Probably the best low post duo in the league. Then the Wolves need a SG/SF and a franchise player who fits in a triangle. Turner fits that bill to a T.

hope you’re all right about Turner going to the Wolves, that would be great. I can see Jefferson to 76ers for Dalembert and the 2nd, that makes sense for both teams. It still leaves Philly w/ EB but I don’t see anyone taking on that contract.

i dont really care about making any predictions…but after hearing DeMarcus Cousins showed up out of shape to the draft combine I hope he winds up in the D-League. its an insult to us 5’8″ basketball fans everywhere, who would give their left nut to even sniff a D-III college roster when some guy with those kinds of natural skills demostrates such a disrespect for the game like that. DC has all the skills, but he just doesnt care enough about the sport. He’ll pocket millions of dollars half-assing it for a decade while guys like Wesley Johnson overachive and thousands of folks like myself bust their ass in their intermural league. to me Demarcus Cousins is whats wrong with professional basketball. the leauge would be better with a dozen John Brockmans than one DC. Need I remind you the painful memory those initials conjure up. for predictions, id be shocked if he lasted past golden state…if I was a GM id rather not pick at all than take him, but either Sacto or GS has incompetent enough management to pull the trigger. dont people realize, in a decade where the spurs and the pistons won titles with no “galmourous superstar” (id call Timmmy a SS, but lets face it, he has a blue collar rep…) team chemistry is what matters most? i couldnt tell you if DC or Favors will be the better pro statistically, but id never draft a guy in the lottery with a horrid work ethic like the one Cousins has shown.

oh, and the GM who trades for Gilbert Arenas is just as stupid as the GM who burns their Lottery pick on Demarcus “my-best-career-outcome-is-a-VH1-reality-show” Cousins. Unless the trading team gets exculsive rights to Arenas’ blog password. in that case I back it.

But seriously, what did Gilbert Arenas being drafted in the second round ever teach us other than you can get a head case shoot first pseudo point guard in the second round? SHHHHHHHIT. I was hoping Willie Warren would teach me that THIS YEAR!
