NbanflguyParticipantThis game has been amazing so far. Havent seen the crowd this fired up at a twolves game since the Garnett years.
Rubio has 8 points and 6 ast as the half. Awesome alley oop to Randolph.
Lebron is dominating, K Love is having a great game.
Randolph and Ellington have been great off the bench
Cole is the real deal
Heat up by 11 Early
Half time score of 53-51 Wolves.

That was 9 months ago. Today i met my newest bro. Hes pretty chill.

0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 4:47pm #619802
Future_Scoutyea another oop. im not trying to take anything away from randolph but in heat culture joel anthony is supposed to slide for a second to the perimeter on pick and rolls basically left him open

IndianaBasketballParticipantRubio has that ball on a string man… I like this kid A LOT. Poised. True point guard. He controls the offense. I can see the Rondo comparisons. He looks like one of those players who’ll be able to impact the ball game without scoring.

NbanflguyParticipantThis wolves bench has been amazing
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:01pm #619814
IndianaBasketballParticipantLet’s see if the Wolves can pull this out…
It’s a known fact that sometimes great teams don’t take weak teams seriously until it actually matters in the 4th quarter… Let’s see if the Wolves fold like I’m thinking they will.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:01pm #619815
HaleParticipantEvery player on the Wolves bench has at least a +5 +/-.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:03pm #619816
NbanflguyParticipantThe wolves shoot 3/22 from 3 against the thunder and lose by 4.
Play horrible and get down 20 against the Bucks. Lose by 3
And now we have 20 turnovers against the heat and we are tied.
We are staying in games against good teams without playing our best basketball

NbanflguyParticipantRubio Rubio Rubio
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:09pm #619820
IndianaBasketballParticipantI want Love to show me he is a max player and be the go-to player for his team down the stretch.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:11pm #619821
HaleParticipantHe isn’t a max player under any circumstance.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:14pm #619823
NbanflguyParticipantRubio another 3!!! Double double!
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:14pm #619822
IndianaBasketballParticipantShould’ve been a four point play for Rubio on that three since LeBron fouled him.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:15pm #619824
IndianaBasketballParticipantRubio needs to develop that floater… He’s got to shoot that shot.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:17pm #619825
Future_ScoutLEBRON HASN’T TAKEN A 3 ALL F$CKING YEAR AND HE DOES IT IN CRUNCH TIME.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:18pm #619826
NbanflguyParticipanthuh? It was a wide open 3.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:19pm #619827
KayjayParticipantHave taken it. If I was wide open. Everybody is pretty much off except Lebron.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:19pm #619828
Future_Scoutu see. stay slashing son. lebron BIW
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:20pm #619829
NbanflguyParticipantRefs doing everything to try to give this to the Heat
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:22pm #619830
IndianaBasketballParticipantHas Kevin Love even touched the ball since those free-throws?
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:24pm #619831
IndianaBasketballParticipantWhy would LeBron throw that pass? Lmao…
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:25pm #619832
Future_Scoutdamn lebron. u c why he’s mentally weak, he just messed up!!!!!!!!!!!!!! big mistake
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:25pm #619833
NbanflguyParticipantNeed to make those freethrows
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:27pm #619834
IndianaBasketballParticipantThat’s the T-Wolves for you.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:27pm #619835
KayjayParticipantAlmost a triple double.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:28pm #619836
IndianaBasketballParticipantWhat’s D. Wade… 3/3 clutch shots this year? Smart for Miami to realize this and give him the ball.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:29pm #619837
Winning_TimeParticipantSad
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:32pm #619838
- Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:33pm #619839
omphalosParticipantDamn damn damn, was really hoping Minnesota could pull that out, but all credit to Wade for being a bad, bad man. The thing that annoys me the most is that people will go on about how good Lebron’s numbers were, when it was Wade who won the game for them.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:34pm #619840
IndianaBasketballParticipantBased on the box score, Kevin Love was a monster… But he did absolutely nothing when the game was on the line.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:35pm #619841
Future_Scoutthe problem with love is that he relies mostly on hustle, but in crunch time everyone is hustling
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:35pm #619842
IndianaBasketballParticipantAnd there’s nothing wrong with that… LeBron is the best player in the NBA for the first 44-46 mins.
But when it’s crunch time, get that ball to D. Wade.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:43pm #619843
omphalosParticipant@IB; I swear like 80% of his points came in transition, though that turnaround jumpshot was pretty filthy, even though it seemed like he could have just risen up and shot it. I’d take Wade in a half-court situation anyday though, but that’s just me.
Wolves need to develop a go-to player though, because it was apparent down the stretch that they didn’t have a guy to create his own shot. Love isn’t that guy, it’s gotta be either Beasley or Williams.
I will say that Love changed my opinion of him in this game, he showed a lot more activity and some of the offensive moves he made were very impressive.
Does anybody else like them better without Barea? I just feel like JJ will hurt them long-term, and the T’Wolves showed they could compete with the best without him.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 5:49pm #619846
HitsterParticipantRubio is living up to the hype, not the finished article yet, his team is 0-3 but his first NBA double double, the signs are looking good.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 6:14pm #619856
kngojcParticipantI was at that game and let me tell you… Those refs HANDED the game to the Heat. The Wolves stayed competitive the entire game, even with 25 TO’s and so many points left at the free throw line. Crazy good game to watch. But those refs were completely bogus.
I think that KLove is their go-to guy in the fourth but he isn’t assertive enough to assume that role so he defers to others unless if he has an open shot. I’m pretty okay with that though because he’s not the kind of guy that can just take a game over and make a difference with his scoring ability or anything. What the Wolves need is a guard who can take the game over. And like what was said before, Rubio can change the outcome of the game even without scoring. HE PUT THE TEAM ON HIS BACK in the fourth quarter! This kid is for real!
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 6:30pm #619867
aamir543ParticipantCouldn’t catch the game, but I saw Anothony Randolph had 14 points, with a +/- of +14. That to me says that he is coming along in this run’n gun TWolves system. Let me tell you, this is one dangerous team. They might be young, inexperienced, and stupid, but they have one hell of a coach, and all the personel they have is extremly gifted offensively. They have quite a bit of depth and young talent. Watch out for this team, I know they are 0-3, but if they can cut down on the turnovers, than they could surprise a lot of us.
