Melo2Amare1ParticipantJust saw these as well as the post about fans liking and disliking teams constantly changing jerseys. What do you guys think of the Wizards bringing a new school look to the old school jerseys? I would LOVE to see Denver follow this trend and bring back the rainbow jerseys.

TRC1991Participanti was hoping they’d have kept the blue, gold and white colors and gone with this design

WizardofOzParticipantIt would look even better if we changed our name back to the Bullets.

M-DYMESParticipantThese are a bit too busy for my taste and remind me too much of Team USA and the Nets. I thought the old wizards jerseys were pretty nice. I loved the shade of blue they use to have. Plus the old W in the wizards looked kinda like the WuTang logo.

torontoraptors10ParticipantJohn Wall is wearing #11 now? Isn’t #11 retired for the Wizards for Elvin Hayes?

ghettosermonParticipant^^ Jordan Crawford was wearing it too, they were just modeling the jerseys for 2011. I love it, back to the Bullets color scheme. I really love everything Ted Leonsis has done with this team. They have a ton of young assets and a crap load of cap space, not to mention two first rounders this year. They are really building their team much like Atlanta did in 04 when they were crap and signed Joe Johnson and later drafted guys like Josh Smith, Al Horford etc. If the Wizards can get a big name free agent to add to the core of Wall, Crawford, Mcgee, Young, Seraphin, Booker, they will be a team to watch in the future. They just need to find a way to get value for Blatche who doesn’t seem to have a good future with this team.

BTW This is very smart on Ted Leonsis part. The Capitals and Nationals already are red, Redskins burgundy, it seemed weird for the Wizards to be blue. Again another great move on Leonsis part.

651TwolvesParticipanttoo similar to the capitals jerseys. is washington trying to be like pittsburg and have all three of their teams have the same colors?…city unity

TC_42ParticipantI like the jerseys, but I’m a little bit confused what their primary logo is going to be. Is it the "dc" with the hand and the ball? Is it just the stylized "wizards"? Is it the ball with the star and Washington monument?

JimmeredYaWabafetParticipanti believe its the dc one http://www.nba.com/playerfile/john_wall/ the logo is there and featured more than the other logo on their website, like the jerseys but the primary logo is horrendous 😮

ghettosermonParticipantIt’s similar to the old bullets logo expect now there is only one arm. I think they should rename the team. I just never got the whole Wizards and Mystics renaming. It was funny but they got the name through a fan contest. What is this 6th grade pee wee football? I think more research should have gone into the naming of the team. The Washington Capitals, and Washington Nationals make complete sense.

goneParticipantThey changed to the Wizards because in 90s we had the highest murder rate so Polin didnt like Bullets. Plus it would be a jerk move to change it back to the Bullets a year after Polin died

jamesofwhite21Participantbecause the jerseys will debut in ’11… self explanatory much?
