r377ParticipantWith Durant’s injury, will he step up ?
He is a league MVP and considered one of the best in the league, but seemed to be struggling a bit or just taking a back seat to Durant.
How will they fare without Durant ?

ZouldiersParticipantGame 6 Klay will appear. Steph who knows

high floorParticipantGame 6, on the road, against a formidable opponent. Steph has noticeably taken a back seat to Durant during these playoffs, and a Golden State win (sans KD) behind a big Curry performance would quickly remind people that he’s one of the best guards to ever play the game.
I’m very much looking forward to the game tonight.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI fully expect him to be ridiculously aggressive tonight . . .
It’s crazy to write this, but he has to re-prove to the world how special he is and tonight is his opportunity
What if this was what Steph, Klay & Draymond needed? Now, they’re the underdogs and feeling like they have something to prove lol

MettaWorldDurant1ParticipantIf The Warriors Lose Tonight They Also Have To Play Game 7 Without KD..If I’m The Rockets Right Now There’s No Excuse For Not Winning This Series. Come Out Kick Em While Their Down And Ride That Mommentum Into Game 7

halfdecayedParticipantReal question to me is will Harden step up ? Curry has proven himself in the playoffs while Harden has not shown he can take the next step yet

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantIt’s not just about steph. Or klay for that matter. Sure they can get really hot and possibly carry them to one win but one or 2 guys from the bench will need to really step up for Golden State, whether it’s jerebko, McKinnie, maybe even cook. This team isn’t nearly as deep as it was prior to acquiring Durant and they are relying very heavily on their stars to give them huge mins and production. Where at one time they were deep enough to withstand the loss of Durant that isn’t really the case now. The Hampton five lineup that was a luxury in past years has become a necessity in these playoffs. The impact of not having Durant will arguably be felt as much on defense as offense. Even if steph and klay both go off, if they can’t stop Houston it might not matter.
I’m really interested to see the adjustments Kerr makes. Who will start in Durant’s place and how will those mins be distributed? Does he possibly dust off Bogut? Regardless this is Houston’s best chance and they have to take advantage of it.The warriors aren’t going to go down easy, but Houston is the better team without Durant and they have to now be considered the favorites in this series. If they can’t pull it doubt, harden, Paul, dantoni are all going to face serious questions about their legacies.

halfdecayedParticipantSplash brothers showed up. I’m actually looking forward to see them play together without KD (hopefully). That was a great game, although not that well executed from both sides

The GoatParticipantHouston are now the Suns when they lost to the Spurs and Amare got hurt. The arrogant D’Antoni will weasel blame onto someone and leave. CP3 will get traded, possibly end up on the Lakers with Lebron and Melo. Let’s see if someone tries to trade for Capela, Tucker and Gordon.

CynthiaParticipantMaybe I don’t hate the Warriors as much as I thought, I actually kind of enjoyed watching them play last night without KD.
I guess I just hate KD then.

halfdecayedParticipantI thought I used to hate them too but watching them with these 2015-2016 lineups was actually enjoyable. KD better leave and the NBA should be great again

HitsterParticipantSteph certainly showed up when it counted. The Goat nailed it above with the Rockets being like the Suns when Mike D’Antoni coached them.
