gorsebballer44Participantjack mcclinton is getting absolutely no love from anyone on this site and quite frankly its ticking me off!!!
this young trailblazing shooting guard is easily one of the purest shooting guards in the nation and has put up fantastic numbers in his time at the university of miami, florida.
in this past season, he averaged 19 pts a game, but don’t be fooled, he had some standout performances compared to gerald henderson and wayne ellington
while playing against duke at cameron indoors, he had a stunning 34 point breakout while going 5 for 6 on 3pt shots.
8 days later, at home against north carolina, he had another breakout performance with 35 points, while connecting 7 out of 12 times beyond the arch.
may i add that your precious gerald henderson played against the same unc team with plenty more five star recruits by his side than mcclinton and had just 19 points and hit 1 for 6 from beyond the arch
and wayne ellington, such a pure shooter and scorer, played against duke and only had 15 points and connected 1 for 6 in 3pt range
look at the numbers and you’ll find a very dominant shooting guard who is extremely nba ready

lakanoParticipantLOL maybe with posts like this he will get more attention
My guess for his lack of “love” would be because of his lack of size at the 2 and they probably feel he wont be an effective point guard

gorsebballer44Participantthink about this, dwayne wade is listed as a 2 guard and he’s 6-2,
mcclinton is listed at 6-1

knicksfreakParticipantWe mentioned the Knicks loved him on other posts. They’re probably going to move into the late first to make sure they get him.

knicksfreakParticipantWade is 6’4″ with shoes but McClinton could be a more complete Ben Gordon

eprizzle14ParticipantI think he could be a quicker more athletic eddie house. I think he could be a better phasilatator(sp) and defender then advertized.

nthegoodlifeParticipantJack will be lucky to be in the league. He lacks quicks & most importantly a HANDLE. Sure he can shoot, but who wants a 6’1 shooter. He got away with a “suspect handle” in college, but he will not in the league.

rvirsalParticipanthe’s just 6’1.. if he wore 2 inch shoes then maybe he’d be like bg. but dude! a 6’1 sg? he’d be a liability on defense.
