Why doesn't Willie Cauler Stein blocks shots?

I've watched the Kings play a few times this year but never noticed it. WCS gets no blocks. He averaged 2.2 blocks per game in College for 3 years but now he's down to 0.4 per game. Anybody watch Kings ball know why this is. Id he taking charges or just really discipline?

Trading blocks for rebounds

College he was able to play off the ball a bunch with Towns, Lyles, Randle, Poythress, and Noel during his time at Kentucky. He also gaurded on the perimeter a lot and full court press during his junior season so a lot of his blocks were chase down blocks like LeBron's or literally scaring someone a foot shorter than him into getting their shot blocked.

That being said his blocks are questionablly low, but what he does do more now is rebound the ball which he did not do a good job of in college.

I was thinking maybe he's

I was thinking maybe he's trying to stay out of foul trouble but his fouls are up from last year 2.5 to 3.3 and minutes are the same blocks are down 0.9 to 0.4.

Guys 7'1 with a 7'4 wingspan freak athlete and he gets the same amount of blocks as Kyle Lowry.

Sometimes blocking shots

Sometimes blocking shots isn’t better defense because you’re taking risks. Still, O.4? That’s too low.
