jjonzParticipantCan the Thunder make a Run @ the Title this year. They have the Most Explosive Duo in the West, probally 2nd best in the NBA. Interior Defense, 3 point Shooting. I think they can beat the Top 3 teams in the West. Perk totally changes their Team with his Block Presence. Kobe said he is 1 on the best defenders on the Block. JHarden has step up since the trade, i made a mistake early when i said OKL should trade Harden. He is really coming into his own, My only concern is do you need interior scoring in the Playoffs & if so where can Thunder find interior scoring. Or is this team like Bull’s from the 90’s the last team to win without an Offensive Post presence. It would not be a surprise if Thunder are in the Conference or NBA Finals. This is a great team, & last years experience taught them how to succeed in the Playoffs.

DC ChillinParticipantWatching the Thunder yesterday, I was impressed by there front court. Perk-Ibaka can be a devestating defensive duo on the inside grabbing boards, blocks, and altering shots. If Durant and Westbrook can continue there play on the offensive end, the Thunder will mess around and at least get to the Western Conference finals. Post-Season experince is the other thing hindering them.

Anton123ParticipantThey actually have a shot at the 2nd seed, they’re just 1 game behind Dallas and LA and both teams are kinda slumping. LA has SAS next, so the Thunder have quite a good chance

jjonzParticipant2 young teams with 1st(Bulls) & 2nd Seeds. that would be ideal for NBA going forward.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantThe Thuner can possible be a great defensive team. We already know Ibaka and Perkins down low is scary enough, but Westbrook and Sefolosha are two of the best perimeter defenders in the league. You saw what Perkins did yesterday to Kobe? He put him in a headlock. I think that’s good for this Thunder team because at times they come off as too humble and nice. In my opinion, they need some nastiness and some swagger as self motivation. I really think they have a chance at the conference finals and maybe even the NBA Finals. I would love to see them competeing for the ring.

jjonzParticipantIn the Finals would be great. You would have a big city VS small city game.2 or 3 Future MVP’s battling for Chips, with a Hungry South Beach team, and a ChampionShip contending team in NY. This could be a Battle for the Next decade, like the 80’s with Magic & Bird. ok ok i got ahead of myself but i just like when young players/and young teams emerge on the scene ready to take the Spotlight

LakerQNot surprised they beat my Lakers in the regular season because the playoffs are a different animal, with that said i’ve been watching the Thunder alot and i’m not as confident as i once was about the Lakers beating the. I still would put m money on the Lakers in a 7 game series but i can see the Thunder getting better and etter and Durant has seemed to figure out how to play a little better against Artest. They still have no answer for the bigs though and Gasol and Bynum proved as much but in a year or two the Thunder wil be in the thick of title conversation

Anton123ParticipantDurant is also underrated on D, he is a good rebounder blocks some shots with his length and when he tries he can play some good perimeter D too. I think the Thunder might have the a potential top 3 defensive team in the league

LakerQI wouldnt say underrated. People know he can play D but he does’t do it al the time or consitantly thats why no one talks aout his defense alot. He has games were helooks pretty bad on D and not because he can’t but his effort on that end just isnt there

SwatLakeCityParticipantI expect the WCF to be a rematch between the Lakers and Thunder. Thunder get the 4th seed, and the Lakers get the 3 seed. That series should be fun and I’m hoping the Thunder come out victorious. Do not base anything off the season. Playoffs are a completely different ball game; any team can get hot at any time especially the Lakers. I do expect a rematch between the Thunder and Lakers to be different than last season’s first round match up, but who wins couldn’t tell you depends on which team is hot at that time and which team is favored in matchups, because in the Playoffs its all about the matchups.

apb540ParticipantThe Thunder are looking really, really good, and Perkin’s impact has been exactly what we all thought it would be. I have Spurs season tickets that I just sell to make money (live in PA, not even a fan) and them playing the Thunder in the second round scares the shit out of me. The pure NBA fan in me wants to see my boy KD win a championship, but the businessman in me NEEDS the Spurs to go to the finals and the Thunder are looking like a serious roadblock.

LakerQI don’t think the Thunder will beat the Spurs. Not only are the Spurs battle tested but i thik they are 3-0 against the Thuner this season. I know thw Thunder are young and exciting and thats why alot of people think they will beat the old, not so exciting Spurs but i’m not one of them
