HayatoKanzaki1ParticipantIts that guy again! I’ve asked this question the past 2 years. So I’ll ask it again. With the draft lottery over and teams lottery positions decided. Who would you pick numbers 1 and 2? I’d probably go with DeAndre Ayton and Michael Porter Jr. I know I will get slaughtered for not choosing Luka Doncic as one of my selections but oh well. who would you choose number 1 and 2?

trelos6ParticipantDoncic and JJJ

Robb_CParticipantI I’d take Porter or Ayton 1 or 2…
Porter is being slept on hard, I personally think hes a future star in this league., Colin Sexton and Wendell Carter both really have solid All-Star potential as well.. I think Sexton playing for Avery Johnson is going to really pay off as a future NBA PG,
I rate intangibles on a PG at a very high premium for the sole fact a very steady PG is going to create the most consistency among his team..
Jalen Brunson and Colin Sexton both stand out in this regard, I like both a lot.
Gary Clark Jr isnt on the Mock Draft but I like his game as well, I think he can be an elite defender and maybe be a poor mans Jimmy Butler.

Miko4rm206ParticipantIf I was the Kings I would take a really Hard Look at Porter JR. Even if Ayton and Luka are still on the Board.
If Porter JR. Checks out healthy and has a Solid workout I take him. He is to athletic and Skilled for his height. His Scoring Prowess rivals Kd/Tmac and he can grow/is the missing piece to what I already have set In Hield,Fox,Wcs and Skal/Giles.

Taylor Gang MikeParticipantIf I were the Suns I would either take Ayton or Trae Young. They could swing for the fences with Trae, assuming he is Curry. Him and Booker would be an amazing backcourt and they have young bigs ad Josh Jackson. But I believe they will play it safe and take Ayton.
Michael Porter is the other player I think if his back checks out great, then his potential is through the roof. He has to be more cocky, confident and aggressive. He needs to play with an edge.

HobbyOGParticipantAyton
Porter….
Lucka coming out saying he might stay overseas next year, I can’t trust that…he might pull a Fran Vazquez..

Taylor Gang MikeParticipantVery true I can’t trust Luka

Memphis MadnessParticipantBamba and Sexton.
Best big on the board with an alpha shot-blocking/rebounding/dunking skill set.
Sexton could be Isiah Thomas 2.0. Even if he isn’t he still could be the most alpha guys in the draft, an instant go-to guy with a prototype motor.

KIP BallerParticipantPorter could be the best player to come out of this draft but with a back issue he is too high of a risk at 1 or 2 for two teams that are desperate to get it right. So I am going Ayton at 1, Doncic at 2.

weballin.netParticipantthat’s why I go with Ayton and Bamba.
Ayton is not perfect but he’s a can’t miss prospect. Bamba is constantly underrated and his tremendous measurements, maturity and improving shooting will make some GMs look bad 5 years from now.

RigelzParticipantI think Ayton is really a perfect fit for Phoenix, so he is my #1. Second place is good for Doncic but strong workouts could change this… i think Bag and JJJ really have an high ceiling, very high. It’s all in their hands.

OhCanada-ParticipantDoncic is the best player in this draft but Ayton has the most upside. Bamba is the most intriguing due to his wingspan and intellect.

SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantAyton 1 and Bagley 2.

mamadouParticipantSame for me.
Big team need factor tho.
Suns, an inside presence they lack since Stat left, from WCF to no PO appearance ever since.
Booker and Jackson are alpha males(if ayton don’t have it in him) they need some balance.
That’s a young big 3 you can build around pretty easily with role players deluxe" shooters, defenders, playmakers, hustlers", "marcus smart asses" "Khyri Thomasses"…
Kings are the worst offense in the league, they don’t have any legit 3 or 4, they need scoring and nba readyness more than projects and logjams, with blatant holes.
Sure Porter could be a target for them but Bagley get the nod, he can score, board and run with fox, he would be a ROY caliber, at least statistically.
You need stats when your leading scorer is a 36yo Z-bo playing 25 mins a night and missing a quarter of the season.

holefillers1ParticipantDoncic, JJJ. You guys watch Ayton, Bagley, Porter and Bamba combine for zero all star games in their careers.

r377ParticipantI would take Bagley and Luka Doncic. Both low risk to be busts, quite safe picks

kobyzParticipanti will take Bagley number 2 without a second thinking, i may even take him number 1 over Ayton but i’m not sure, but should be top 2 without a doubt!!!
