HobbyOGParticipantAll-Star selections announced:
Eastern Conference
– Victor Oladipo (2nd selection)
– Kyle Lowry (5th selection)
– Blake Griffin (6th selection)
– Khris Middleton (1st selection)
– Ben Simmons (1st selection)
– Bradley Beal (2nd selection)Western Conference
– Russell Westbrook (8th selection)
– Anthony Davis (6th selection)
– Nikola Jokic (1st selection)
– Damian Lillard (4th selection)
– Klay Thompson (5th selection)
– LaMarcus Aldridge (7th selection)So if your opinion, who do you think made it that shouldn’t and who got snubbed? I think DLO will replace Victor since he’s hurt. And I think Lucka should of made it, maybe of LaMarcus.

HobbyOGParticipantAlso I think Devin Booker might be the next young guy who request a trade..maybe next year. Suns aren’t going anywhere and he’s putting up 25pts, 7assist. If the Suns were half decent he would be an all-star. They got him playing the 1 and 2 and most nights he double-teamed.

220ParticipantYou left out Karl Anthony Towns (2nd selection) and Nikolai Vucevic (1st selection).
I’m most surprised to see KAT make it. I’m also pretty surprised how many players, 5, are from teams that wouldn’t be in the playoffs if the playoffs started today. The Coaches usually place a lot of value on winning when they select their All Star reserves.

dmo21ParticipantAll the guys might not be on playoff teams, but all their teams are still in playoff contention. No reason to choose I guy from the 7th placed team and not the 10th if they’re only a game apart.

HobbyOGParticipantKat putting up 24 and 12, And Nikolai putting up 20 and 12, I’m not surprised they made it..

halfdecayedParticipantI think Jimmy Butler will replace Victor.. Also Doncic over Alridge or Klay to be honest

HobbyOGParticipantNah Jimmy azz doesn’t deserve to be an all-star this year. Too many rest days and too much bitchin..he need to sit his azz out this year. D’Angelo needs to be that guy. He has BK competitng for an all-star spot. No one saw that coming.

Reptilian MonkParticipantJimmy Buter seems like a guy to be really bothered if hes not an All Star, if he doesnt make it wouldnt be surprised if he left Philly and went somewhere where he is the 1st or 2nd option

dmo21ParticipantFor an Oladipo replacement, I think they’ll go with Russell. Unless they go big with a guy like Drummond or his teammate Turner.
No huge snubs as it seems like all the guys that got in deserve it. Doncic is definitely the next guy up, but there’s no real strong argument to take him over any of the other west reserves.

holefillers1ParticipantYeah Khris Middleton is not having a better year than last year and he is an all star this year…make up call

CoachWyersParticipantI would have liked to see Tobias Harris over team. I would have had him over Klay. I thought Derozan would have been Spur to make it, but can’t complain with Aldridge making it. Out East only complaint was D"Angelo Russell not making it, but like mentioned he should have a good shot at replacing Oladipo.

jtthebrickParticipant15 ppg
12.8 rebounds per
Leads the league in field goal percentage
Reigning defensive player of the year and candidate
Would anyone rather have Aldridge on a playoff team this year with 21.1 ppg and 8.8 rebounds considering the enormous disadvantage on the defensive end?
The coaches got it wrong.

chrsw003ParticipantIf John Collins didnt miss first coupke weeks of season he would have an argument to get in for the East

dmo21ParticipantNot when he’s on that crappy Hawks team.. Especially when guys like Siakam, Turner, Sabonis and Ibaka are putting up similar (a little less) stats on winning teams and they didn’t make the team.

HobbyOGParticipantPutting up solid numbers but his team is so bad (Like Devin Booker) they wouldn’t of gave him a spot.
