Own it … nobody in society these days wants to own it when they’re wrong. But here’s the deal, I called out ESPN for predicting Michael Porter Jr. going No. 15 a month back in one of their draft shows.

Turns out they were right. Or really darn close. So there you have it.

Seems like the medical reports on Porter must have been really bad, much worse than was made public and honestly, it seems like he fell into Harry Giles territory.

In your defense, pretty much everyone else on the planet agreed with you. I’ve been one of Porter’s biggest critics and have been calling him overrated for a long time and I even thought he wouldn’t fall out of the top 10.

His issue as we all know has nothing to do with his game. In terms of raw talent, he easily could’ve gone top 3.

Still waiting for Bulls pick so that it will be announced that the Bulls trade for MPJ draft rights.  A fan can hope.

Go back a week or two heaps of kids on here still had him top 7. Some even would of taken him top 3

Back injuries – Perry Jones, Sullinger all dropped

Whats funny is that those guys didn’t have issues long-term. Jones couldn’t shoot and was raw. Sullinger was a very good player for the Celtics that just got fat and basically ate himself out of the league. So if those are the examples teams will regret passing on Porter!

I had him going 7th and was questioning myself if he’d really slip that far. He did and then some.
