Trying to get a sense of which 14 Teams will be at the center of all the drama some 225 days from now…

We got a small sample size of the Elite prospects and fans and NBA GM’s have been ready for the 2014 Draft since July of 2013

So which 14 teams Will be in the lottery??? And which 3 teams do you think have the best chances to land a top 3 pick…

Utah and the Kings are locks. Prob Boston, Charlotte, Orlando, Denver and Sixers also.

Utah, Kings and either Boston or Charlotte for the 3 worst records

Utah could be real good in a few years if they were to land a top 3 pick to go with Kanter, Favors, Burke and Haywood.

Jazz, Kings, Magic, Suns, Sixers, Bobcats, Celtics. Obviously 14 teams will be in the lottery, but half are pretty hard to predict.

In the Western conference you gotta think the Spurs, Thunder, Clippers, Grizzlies, Warriors, and the Rockets are locks for the playoffs and the Suns, Kings, and Jazz seem like locks for the lottery which leaves the Nuggets, Lakers, Pelicans, Blazers, Mavericks, and Nuggets fighting for the last two spots but aren’t locks either way.

In the Eastern conference you gotta think the HEAT, Bulls, Pacers, Nets, Knicks are all locks. I know the Knicks and Nets are playing bad, but I can’t see them in the lottery this year. It really seems just the Magic, Sixers, Celtics and Bobcats are the only pure locks. Cavs, Pistons, Raptors, Hawks, Wizards, Bucks are all fighting for the last 3 playoff spots in the East.

Definitely Utah. Would be a great story and for their franchise if they can land somehow Jabari Parker. Don’t think I’ve ever heard of an NBA player of that caliber being a mormon before. And considering the state of Utah has a dominant mormon population, it seems quite fitting.
